Recall Incidents

The United States has initiated multiple recalls of office chairs manufactured in China. On March 2, 2023, the United States and Canada jointly launched a recall of office chairs made in China due to the risk of backrest breakage, which could potentially cause users to fall. By the time of the recall, 12 related reports had been received, including 10 injury reports. On January 16, 2025, the United States once again recalled the WorkPro Momentum office chairs manufactured in China. This recall was prompted by the potential failure of the chair's bolts, posing a risk of users falling. By the recall date, seven related reports had been received, with two individuals sustaining minor injuries. These recall incidents highlight potential quality and safety issues with some imported office chairs, emphasizing the need for consumers to exercise caution when purchasing and using such products, paying attention to their safety and quality certifications.
