Office Chair Tray Stamping
The stamping and forming of office chair trays are achieved through specialized hydraulic equipment and molds, with core aspects including equipment selection, mold design, process flow, and automation control.

Equipment and Mold Configuration
Stamping and forming require the use of a 200-ton metal cold-press forming hydraulic press (such as a custom-made unit from Shandong Woda Heavy Industry). Its three-beam, four-column structure includes components such as the upper beam, slide block, worktable, columns, main cylinder, and ejection cylinder, providing stable pressure. Mold design must integrate functional modules such as punching, trimming, forming, flanging, bending, flat-hole stamping, side punching, side flanging, and flattening. Some patented technologies enable continuous automated production through idle-step design, reducing manual intervention.
Process Flow
- Material Preparation: Select metal sheets such as stainless steel or aluminum alloy and cut them to appropriate sizes based on tray dimensions, ensuring uniform thickness and defect-free surfaces.
- Stamping and Forming:
- The hydraulic press drives the punch downward to press the metal sheet, completing basic actions such as bending and punching. A single bending operation takes only a few seconds, offering high efficiency.
- Complex trays require multi-station mold step-by-step forming, sequentially completing processes such as stretching, trimming, flanging, and bending to ensure structural precision.
- Demolding and Output: After forming, the hydraulic cylinder retracts, and the ejection cylinder pushes the workpiece out of the mold to prevent adhesion or deformation.
Automation and Precision Control
The equipment supports three modes: manual, semi-automatic, and fully automatic, with a pressing precision of up to within 0.05mm. High-precision positioning is achieved through travel switches, mechanical limiters, and imported optical scales. During mass production, automated feeders and robotic arms can be integrated to complete material handling and workpiece grasping, significantly improving production efficiency. Additionally, patented technologies (such as CN 114535418 A) enable continuous uninterrupted forming, further optimizing production cycles.
Application Scenarios
This process is suitable for the large-scale production of components such as swivel chair trays and small seat trays, particularly in scenarios requiring high structural strength and dimensional accuracy. Through modular mold design, product models can be quickly switched to meet diverse market demands.
