To transform an ordinary office chair into one with a rocking function, it is usually necessary to install a top-of-the-line rocking tray with rocking capabilities. The specific transformation steps are as follows:

1. Prepare Installation Materials
   Open the product installation package and ensure that all parts are present and undamaged, including five matching wheels, a backrest cover plate, a screw pack, and a four-stage gas lift. Key Point: The four-stage gas lift must meet the load-bearing standard to avoid rocking function failure due to insufficient air pressure; the screw pack should be sorted by specification to avoid confusion during use.

2. Install Base Wheels
   Press the clips firmly into the chair leg interfaces to ensure that each wheel is securely installed and does not loosen during later use. After installation, cover with the backrest cover plate to initially conceal the chair leg structure. Note: The wheels must fit perfectly with the chair leg interfaces; any gaps may cause shaking or abnormal noises.

3. Install Gas Lift
   Align one end of the four-stage gas lift with the central mounting position on the base and gently insert and secure it. Principle: As the core support, the gas lift must be installed vertically to avoid uneven air pressure or seat shaking due to tilting.

4. Install Seat Cushion and Rocking Tray
   Flip the seat cushion, align it with the direction of the tabs, and secure it with the second shortest screw and a washer. If installing a top-of-the-line rocking tray, follow the same installation process as the seat cushion, ensuring there are no gaps between the tray and the cushion. Key Operation: Tighten the screws to an appropriate torque to avoid tray displacement due to looseness or thread damage due to over-tightening.

5. Secure Backrest
   Align the backrest with the four holes on the base and tighten it with the provided screws. After installation, cover with the silver decorative cover plate. Safety Tip: Ensure that the screws are fully tightened to avoid safety hazards caused by loosening after prolonged use.

6. Install Armrests
   Remove the assembled seat cushion assembly, unscrew the reserved armrest screws, and install the left (L) and right (R) armrests as labeled, ensuring that the side with holes faces you. Elevate the seat cushion during assembly for easier operation. Detail: The armrests should be installed level with the seat cushion to avoid discomfort caused by height differences.

7. Install Footrest
   Align the footrest with the mounting position, paying attention to the upward direction, and tighten it with screws to prevent slipping. Keep the remaining screws as spare parts.
