Office Chair Testing Equipment
Office chair testing equipment mainly includes seat reciprocating impact testers, office chair testing instruments, office chair rotating base life testers, and office chair five-claw static pressure testers. Here is a detailed introduction:

The seat reciprocating impact tester is a device used to test the true durability of office chairs. It uses a 57KG sandbag to simulate human weight and continuously impacts the seat from a height of 30mm. Through this continuous impact, it can accurately measure whether the seat part of the chair can withstand the corresponding pressure and wear during long-term use, thereby judging its durability. This is of great significance for evaluating the quality and service life of office chairs and helps manufacturers and consumers understand the chair's performance in actual use scenarios.
The office chair testing instrument is mainly used to evaluate the backrest recline fatigue of office chairs. It conducts tests in accordance with the GB/T10357 and QB/T2280 - 2007 standards. During operation, the chair wheels are first fixed, and then an iron disc load is applied to the seat surface to simulate human weight. At the same time, an adjustable-angle (15 degrees - 90 degrees) and controllable-frequency (10 - 30 times per minute) load is applied to the backrest. The test cycle can reach 120,000 times, and the backrest load is in the form of a canvas bag filled with steel balls. The instrument is equipped with an LED counter, a PLC control system, and a touch-screen operation interface, which can monitor the test status in real-time. It also has a photoelectric sensing function and can automatically stop if the test sample falls. Its technical parameters include a force application height of 406mm - 456mm, a machine size of 1400ร1200ร2500mm, and a power supply specification of AC220V/50Hz.
The office chair rotating base life tester is specifically designed for testing rotating chairs. It applies a static load of 102KG to the seat surface and then makes the chair rotate repeatedly for 120,000 times. If the seat surface is adjustable, it also needs to be tested at the highest and lowest positions to comprehensively detect the service life and stability of the rotating base under different conditions.
The office chair five-claw static pressure tester is used to simulate the static load-bearing test of the seat. It continuously applies a constant pressure to the five claws of the chair to detect the load-bearing strength of the five claws. This can identify potential safety hazards such as cracking, deformation, and breakage of the five claws in advance and ensure the safety of the office chair during use.
