Screw fixation is relatively more secure. When installing, pay attention to the drilling depth and angle to avoid damaging the backrest.
• If the backrest support structure is damaged: If you can find metal pipes or wooden strips of the same specifications for replacement, cut them to the appropriate length and use tools to install them in place. You can use welding, screw connections, or other methods to ensure tight connections and restore the normal support function of the backrest.
• If it is moderate damage, such as slight deformation of the frame: You can purchase a chair frame of the corresponding size online for replacement. For example, if the gas rod of the office chair is broken, buy an appropriate lifting gas rod. Turn the chair upside down and fix it well. Use tools to unscrew the connections between the old gas rod and the base and the seat surface, and then install the new rod.
• If it is severe damage, such as a broken backrest frame, large-area cracks in the chair legs, or complete failure of the lifting or load-bearing functions: In this case, the repair cost may be close to or exceed the price of a new chair, and the safety after repair is difficult to guarantee. It is more prudent to choose to buy a new chair in such situations.
