Office Chair Subsidy Policy
There are differences in office chair subsidy policies across different regions. Chongqing has not explicitly mentioned it, while Shanghai and Nanjing have relevant subsidy policies. Details are as follows:

Chongqing: In the home furnishing trade-in subsidy policy from November 15 to December 31, 2024 (ending when the subsidy funds are exhausted or the policy period expires), some furniture products are included in the subsidy scope, but office chairs are not explicitly mentioned. The policy stipulates that each consumer is limited to a subsidy for 6 items (sets), with a maximum subsidy of no more than 2,000 yuan per item (set). Additionally, new online sales channels have been added, and citizens can purchase home furnishing products on online platforms such as JD.com, Vipshop, and Chongbai Electrical Appliances. This means that if office chairs are classified into the relevant furniture category, consumers may have the opportunity to receive subsidies, but whether they can actually receive them depends on the actual classification and policy implementation.
Shanghai: The "Implementation Rules for the Subsidy Policy to Support the Consumption of Green and Smart Home Appliances and Furnishings in Shanghai" issued on September 6, 2024, provides subsidies for furniture products. The subsidy scope includes six categories of products such as tables and chairs, cabinets, sofas, massage chairs, bed frames, and mattresses. Since office chairs fall within the category of tables and chairs, purchasing office chairs is eligible for subsidies. Consumers who purchase furniture products within the subsidy scope will receive a subsidy of 15% of the sales price per order, with a maximum subsidy amount of no more than 2,000 yuan per order.
Nanjing: In the 2025 Nanjing home decoration and furnishing replacement subsidy program, chairs are included in the subsidy scope, and office chairs, as a type of chair, are naturally included. The program lasts until December 31 (ending early if the funds are exhausted). The subsidy standard is 15% of the final sales price of the product, with a subsidy of up to 20% for products with a Class 1 energy efficiency or water efficiency rating. The maximum subsidy amount per person is 10,000 yuan. Purchases can be made both online and offline. Consumers need to bring their ID cards, and the subsidy amount will be directly deducted at the time of payment. There is a limit of 2 subsidies each for online and offline purchases. The delivery address must be within Jiangsu Province. In case of returns, the actual payment amount will be refunded, but the subsidy amount will not be refunded.
