Office Chair Subsidy

Admin October 19, 2026

There are differences in subsidy policies related to office chairs in different regions. Chongqing and Shanghai have relevant subsidy policies, as detailed below:

Chongqing: During the period from November 15 to December 31, 2024 (ending when subsidy funds are exhausted or the policy period expires), Chongqing's home appliance trade-in subsidy policy has been comprehensively upgraded. This time, eight subcategories of smart furniture, including window-cleaning robots, smart massage chairs, steam cleaners, mite removers, hair dryers, foot bath basins, foot therapy machines, and steam irons, have been included in the subsidy scope. Among them, smart massage chairs fall into the category that may be related to office chairs. The subsidy standard is a maximum subsidy of no more than 2,000 yuan per item (set), with each consumer limited to a maximum of six items (sets). This means that within the specified time frame, if consumers in Chongqing purchase eligible smart massage chairs and meet the relevant requirements, they can receive subsidies for up to six items (sets), with a maximum subsidy of 2,000 yuan per item (set). This, to a certain extent, reduces the financial burden on consumers when purchasing office chair-related products.

Shanghai: Shanghai provides subsidies for furniture, covering six categories including tables and chairs, cabinets, sofas, massage chairs, bed frames, and mattresses. When consumers purchase furniture products within the scope of the city's subsidies, they will receive a subsidy of 15% of the sales price per order, but the subsidy amount per order does not exceed 2,000 yuan. Among them, massage chairs also fall into the category that may be related to office chairs. For example, if a consumer in Shanghai purchases a massage chair priced at 10,000 yuan, they can receive a subsidy of 1,500 yuan at a 15% subsidy rate; if they purchase a massage chair priced at 15,000 yuan, due to the maximum subsidy amount per order being 2,000 yuan, they will ultimately only receive a subsidy of 2,000 yuan. This policy provides benefits for consumers in Shanghai when purchasing office chair-related products.
