Office Chair Sticking
Office chair sticking requires selecting the appropriate method based on specific needs. Common scenarios and methods are as follows:

Leather Repair Sticking: After prolonged use, the leather on the seat cushion or backrest of an office chair is prone to wear and tear, affecting its appearance and usability. In this case, a strong self-adhesive leather repair patch can be used for repair. First, cut the repair patch into an appropriate shape according to the size of the damaged area, ensuring it can fully cover the damaged spot and fit the edges. Then, peel off the protective film on the back of the repair patch and stick it directly onto the damaged leather surface. Gently press it to make it fit tightly with the original leather, expelling air to avoid bubbles or wrinkles. This method is simple to operate, requires no professional tools, and can quickly restore the appearance of the office chair.
Nameplate Sticking:
- Preparation: Cleaning the sticking surface is crucial. Wipe the area on the chair to be stuck with a clean, slightly damp cloth to remove dust and grease, then dry it with a dry cloth to ensure the sticking surface is dry and clean. Choose the appropriate adhesive according to the material of the nameplate and sticking requirements. For example, double-sided tape is suitable for temporary or semi-permanent fixing and works well on flat surfaces such as wood, plastic, and metal; strong adhesive/universal adhesive has extremely high bonding strength and can firmly bond various materials, but the bonding is almost irreversible; nail-free adhesive/structural adhesive is suitable for sticking larger and heavier nameplates or for slightly uneven surfaces, providing permanent fixing; nano adhesive/grid nano adhesive has strong adhesion, is waterproof and moisture-proof, and some can be reused and leave no residue when torn off. For nameplate selection, waterproof sticker name tags (self-adhesive material) are commonly used in kindergarten settings, while acrylic, metal, or wooden hard nameplates are recommended for offices or conference rooms.
- Sticking Steps: Determine the sticking position according to aesthetic standards. Usually, for chairs with backrests, the nameplate is stuck on the upper-middle part of the front or back of the backrest and as centered as possible. For swivel chairs, it can be stuck on the inner side of the left armrest. Mark the approximate range with a pencil. Cut the nameplate according to its size and then stick it, ensuring it is firmly and flatly attached.
Fixed Asset Physical Label Sticking: The label on an office chair should be flatly stuck on a flat and conspicuous position on the equipment surface, preferably the lower-middle part of the back, to ensure unobstructed scanning. When sticking, remove the original fixed asset label to avoid overlapping of new and old labels affecting identification.
Other Sticking Applications: If there are items on the office chair that need to be fixed, such as decorations that you don't want to damage the chair surface by drilling holes, you can use 3M self-adhesive Velcro double-sided tape. One side is a strong self-adhesive that can be stuck on smooth surfaces such as the chair surface, and the other side is the hook and loop side of Velcro, enabling repeatable sticking and firm support, facilitating the disassembly and installation of items.
