Office Chair - Staff and Reception Chair
There is a clear difference between staff chairs and executive chairs commonly used in reception scenarios among office chairs. They differ in materials, functions, design objectives, and applicable scenarios.

Materials: Staff chairs mainly use mesh or PU materials. Mesh materials offer good breathability, allowing air to circulate on the seat surface and reducing the stuffy feeling caused by prolonged sitting. PU materials have certain flexibility and abrasion resistance, with relatively low costs, making them suitable for large-scale application in open office areas. In contrast, executive chairs commonly used in reception scenarios are usually wrapped in top-grain cowhide. Top-grain cowhide has a soft and delicate texture, good breathability, and durability, enhancing the overall sense of quality and grade. They are internally filled with high-density foam, which has good resilience and provides comfortable support for users, remaining undeformed even after long-term use. The frames are made of sturdy metal structures, ensuring the stability and load-bearing capacity of the chairs, with a general load-bearing capacity exceeding 150 kilograms.
Functions: Staff chairs have a basic gas-lift height adjustment function, allowing users to adjust the seat height according to their own height and desk height to meet basic daily office needs. In addition to the gas-lift height adjustment function, executive chairs usually have more adjustment functions, such as backrest angle adjustment, armrest height and angle adjustment, etc. Users can make personalized adjustments according to their sitting habits to obtain a more comfortable sitting experience.
Design Objectives: The design objective of staff chairs is to provide basic sitting support for most employees within limited space and budget, meeting the basic needs of eight-hour daily work. They focus on portability and cost control to adapt to the layout of open office areas and corporate procurement budgets. Executive chairs, on the other hand, are more like symbols of power in the office. Their design emphasizes presence and comfort, serving core scenarios such as business receptions and short-term office work. Through design elements such as tall backrests and wide armrests, they project a solemn and grand image, leaving a good impression on visiting clients.
