Office Chair Specifications and Equipment

Admin October 22, 2026

The specifications and equipment of office chairs vary depending on their types, mainly divided into three categories: general office chairs, ergonomic computer chairs, and auditorium chairs. The specific specifications are as follows:

General office chairs (configured for central administrative units) must strictly adhere to the configuration standards for general office equipment and furniture of central administrative units. Their core requirements include meeting standards for safety, stability, and compatibility, while also satisfying conditions for low energy consumption and easy maintenance. The configuration of high-end equipment is prohibited. Office furniture should conform to the principle of simplicity and practicality, avoiding luxurious designs and the use of precious woods. The configuration standards cover asset items, upper limits on quantity, upper limits on price, minimum service life, and performance requirements. For example, chairs must have basic load-bearing capabilities, be structurally stable, and have no sharp edges or corners to ensure safety in use.

Ergonomic computer chairs focus on ergonomic design and emphasize personalized adjustment functions. Their key specifications include: adjustable headrests to accommodate the neck support needs of users of different heights; adjustable armrests that can be raised, lowered, and adjusted at multiple levels to ensure that hands remain naturally perpendicular to the desktop and keyboard, reducing shoulder and neck strain; backrests that conform to the curvature of the back to provide dynamic support and alleviate spinal fatigue caused by prolonged desk work; height adjustment capabilities to match desks of different heights; and customizable seat dimensions, with length, width, and height designed according to the body types of users to avoid localized pressure and enhance comfort during prolonged sitting.

Auditorium chairs must meet the usage requirements of public spaces, with specific parameters including: seat height of 400โ€“440mm, suitable for the natural bending of the legs of most people; seat depth of 400โ€“450mm, ensuring full support for the buttocks and thighs; back height of 1020mm, providing complete support from the neck to the waist; and seat center distance of โ‰ฅ580mm, ensuring sufficient space for movement between adjacent seats. Materials must comply with the QB/T2602-2013 standard for Public Seating in Cinemas and Theaters, including formaldehyde emission of โ‰ค0.12mg/mยณ to ensure air quality safety; static load capacity of the seat surface of โ‰ฅ2000N to verify structural load-bearing capacity; and fire-resistant fabric meeting Class B1 standards to satisfy fire safety requirements.
