Office Chair Special Glue

Admin October 11, 2026

Office chair special glue mainly includes two types: glue specifically designed for lumbar-support sitting chairs and some woodworking glues.

Glue for Lumbar-Support Sitting Chairs

This type of glue is specifically designed for the particular type of lumbar-support sitting chairs in office chairs. In the scenario of 'prolonged sitting', office chairs face special mechanical environments and aging factors. For example, when a user sits on the chair for a long time, the continuous weight of the body exerts a constant micro-stress on the chair, and this stress is a long-term, small-amplitude cyclic load. The glue for lumbar-support sitting chairs, through its unique material internal friction properties and viscoelastic characteristics, can effectively buffer and absorb this continuous micro-stress. It is like adding an elastic buffer layer at the stressed part. When the stress arrives, the glue can disperse and absorb it, preventing stress concentration from damaging the bonding interface. This ensures that during long-term use, even after countless small-amplitude stress cycles, the bonding interface remains stable without issues such as loosening or detachment, guaranteeing the safety and comfort of using the office chair.

Some Woodworking Glues

Although woodworking glues are not specifically designed for office chairs, some of their products can also be used for bonding office chairs, such as PUR189 environmentally friendly solvent-free woodworking glue and Sumiao PUR189 woodworking glue. PUR189 environmentally friendly solvent-free woodworking glue has the characteristic of being environmentally friendly. It does not release harmful solvents during the bonding process, which is more friendly to the health of users. Sumiao PUR189 woodworking glue also has good bonding performance and can meet the bonding needs of some parts of office chairs. However, since they are not specifically designed for office chairs, in terms of dealing with the special mechanical environments and aging factors in the 'prolonged sitting' scenario of office chairs, they may not be as excellent as the glue for lumbar-support sitting chairs. But they can still play a good role in some bonding parts of office chairs where the mechanical requirements are not particularly high.
