Office Chair and Sofa Purchase Guide

Admin October 13, 2026

When purchasing office chairs and sofas, it is essential to focus on core elements such as material, seat depth, support, and placement harmony.

In terms of material, the frame material serves as the foundation, with solid wood or imported larch and eucalyptus being high-quality choices. These materials offer strong load-bearing capacity and excellent stability, making them less prone to loosening or deformation during daily use, and providing reliable support structures for office chairs and sofas. The surface material can be selected based on the usage scenario and requirements. If the office has a high usage frequency and ease of maintenance is a priority, synthetic leather is a good choice due to its smooth surface and easy cleaning, helping to maintain a tidy office environment. If texture is more important, imported top-grain leather is an ideal option, known for its tight texture and durability, creating a luxurious atmosphere.

Seat depth significantly affects comfort. The seat depth of a sofa should be at least 60 centimeters, allowing users to sit more relaxed with their legs fully supported. In contrast, the seat depth of an office chair is typically 50 centimeters, relatively shallower, and more suitable for short-term office use. When selecting, choose the appropriate seat depth based on the usage scenario and duration.

Support is crucial for the user experience. The density and resilience rate of the foam are key indicators, with high-density, high-resilience foam being the preferred choice. When a person sits down, it firmly supports the body, providing good support; when getting up, it quickly returns to its original shape without leaving indentations, ensuring comfort during prolonged use. For the spring system, it is recommended to choose independently pocketed springs, which offer strong anti-interference properties. Even if someone moves frequently on the sofa, it will not significantly affect other areas.

Placement harmony cannot be overlooked. Consider the compatibility of office chairs and sofas with the office space, especially in terms of dimensions. For example, dimensions of 2000mm in length, 840mm in width, and 620mm in height are suitable for common offices and reception rooms, not taking up too much space while leaving enough room for guests, making the entire office environment look more harmonious and comfortable.
