Office Chair Slimming Exercises
The following are some slimming exercises that can be performed on an office chair. Choose the ones that suit your situation:

Knee Raises with Press-Down: This exercise is effective for working the abdominal muscles. Here's how to do it: As you exhale, lift your legs and curl your torso while pressing your hands down. Sit up straight and tall, and alternate your legs for 15 repetitions. During the leg-lift and torso-curl movement, the abdominal muscles contract and power the leg lift. Pressing your hands down adds difficulty and intensity to the exercise, helping to strengthen the abdominal muscles.
Seated Elbow-to-Knee Touch: Sit on about one-third of the stool with your spine straight. Use the elbow of one arm to touch the knee of the opposite leg while engaging your core muscles to pull back throughout the movement. This exercise targets the core muscle groups in the abdomen and waist. When touching the knee with the elbow, the core muscles need to work to control body balance and also improve body coordination.
Seated Bicycle: Consciously lean your upper body backward without resting on the chair back and perform a movement similar to riding a bicycle. This exercise mimics the motion of cycling and works the leg muscles, especially those in the front and back of the thighs. It also provides some movement for the waist and abdomen.
Hanging-Leg Abdominal Training: Sit on the front half of the chair, lean your body slightly backward, hold the sides of the chair with your hands, tighten your abdominal muscles, bring your legs together and bend your knees so that your thighs and calves form a 90-degree angle. Slowly raise your legs towards your abdomen and then slowly lower them back to the ground. This exercise mainly focuses on the abdominal muscles. By raising and lowering your legs, the abdominal muscles continuously contract and relax, achieving the exercise effect.
Alternating Leg Raises on the Stool: Tighten your abdomen, keep your back straight, and raise your bent legs alternately. This exercise works the abdominal muscles and promotes gastrointestinal motility. During the alternating leg raises, the abdominal muscles need to continuously exert force to maintain body stability. It also stimulates the intestines and improves digestion.
Waist-Turning Exercise on the Stool: Sit on the front half of the chair with your feet together. Raise your arms with clenched fists to shoulder height, gently bump the fists together, slowly turn your body to the left and then back to the front, and repeat on the other side. This exercise works the waist muscles and enhances the flexibility and pliability of the waist.
