There are multiple feasible options for modifying office chair seats, and you can choose different modification methods according to your needs.

I. Modification Using 500,000-Class MPV Aviation Seats This option directly utilizes the second-row aviation seats from high-end business MPVs, which feature seat ventilation, heating, and massage functions. The gears can be adjusted via buttons, and the original factory's 50-watt wireless fast-charging function is retained. During modification, four wheels are added to the bottom of the seat, with the rear two wheels having locking functions. The footrest can be raised, and the backrest supports a zero-gravity nap mode. The seat leather is made of automotive-grade Nappa leather, which is resistant to high temperatures and sun exposure. The advantage of this option lies in its comprehensive functionality and high comfort, but it comes with a high cost, making it suitable for users who pursue the ultimate experience.

II. Upgrading the Co-Driver's Seat to an Office Chair A steel plate with 16 pre-drilled holes (10 for securing the seat and 6 for securing the armrest; only 10 holes are needed if no armrest is required) needs to be customized. Connect the steel plate to the seat with six screws, then tighten it with four more screws before installing the casters. For power connection, prepare a battery and an adapter, aligning them with the seat's adapter for power supply. If heating and massage functions are desired, the modification process becomes more complex, requiring additional wiring or the installation of modules. III. GL8 Seat Modification

During modification, the middle-row seats can be replaced with more functional aviation seats that support forward and backward movement, rotation, electric massage, ventilation, and heating functions. For a low-cost option, the original seats can be directly used and connected to a swivel chair base with casters via an adapter plate (which can be purchased ready-made or homemade), with a total cost of approximately 210 yuan (including the seat, adapter plate, screws, etc.). After modification, the seat comes with a USB charging port, and the phone charging power is about 16W under 12V power supply. It can be reclined flat to relieve lumbar pressure, but the seat height may be relatively high, affecting posture.
2. Modification of a Buick GL8 Seat into a Computer Chair: A five-star base is used for modification, ensuring the stability of the seat and the base. This option is similar to the 'first-class cabin' modification but focuses more on the computer chair usage scenario, requiring attention to the matching of seat height with the desktop.
