Lowering the Seat Height of an Office Chair
There are several methods to lower the seat height of an office chair, and you can choose the appropriate one based on the type and structure of the chair:

For common office chairs with a support rod, there is usually a handle on the rod. To adjust, first sit on the office chair or press down hard on it with your hands to put the chair under a certain amount of stress. Then lift the handle you find, and the office chair will lower at this point. This is because lifting the handle releases the locking mechanism inside the support rod, and under the weight of the body or the downward pressure, the chair will naturally descend.
If it is an inflatable office chair, the adjustment method is different. You need to find the knob on the gas rod, which is the key component for height adjustment in an inflatable office chair. When you rotate this knob clockwise, the gas pressure inside the gas rod will change, causing the chair to lower. This is because rotating the knob clockwise controls the release or compression of the gas, thereby changing the height of the chair.
Some office chairs have a handle under the seat. When adjusting the height of the backrest, turn the handle upwards. When a person sits on the chair, the rebound of the high-pressure air in the air rod is blocked, and the chair will naturally lower. This is because turning the handle changes the internal structure of the air rod, limiting the effect of the high-pressure air and thus achieving a decrease in the chair's height.
Some swivel chairs have a fixed screw at the bottom. To adjust, first loosen this screw, and then the height of the chair can be freely adjusted. After adjusting the chair to the appropriate height, re-tighten the screw to ensure that the chair remains stable in height during use.
If there are two adjustment rods under the seat, perform up-and-down adjustments while sitting on the seat. First lift one of the handles, and when the height reaches a satisfactory level, release the handle, and the chair will be fixed at that height.
When there are two handles under the chair and you are unsure which one can adjust the height, try repeatedly to find out. After finding the handle that can adjust the height, follow the corresponding methods mentioned above to make the adjustment.
