Office Chair Screw Installation
The installation of screws for an office chair should be carried out in an orderly manner according to the steps. The specific process is as follows:

Installation of Chair Legs and Casters
Insert each chair wheel into the five-claw assembly holes one by one, or first insert the five casters into the five-star base in sequence. Ensure that each caster is fully embedded to prevent looseness. If the chair legs are made of metal, check that the holes are aligned to avoid scratching your fingers during installation.Installation of the Gas Lift
Place the thicker end of the gas lift against the center hole of the five-claw base or directly insert it into the five-star base and gently press it down until it is fixed. Key Point: The gas lift must be installed vertically to prevent the subsequent seat cushion from being unstable due to tilting. If there is oil on the surface of the gas lift, wipe it with a dry cloth before operation.Installation of the Chair Base and Seat Cushion
Place the chair base on the seat cushion, paying attention to the orientation of the base (usually indicated by markings or grooves). After aligning the four screw holes, first screw in four B screws (or short thin screws) about 3-4 turns one by one, and then tighten them one by one. Note: The screws should be tightened crosswise to prevent the base from shifting. If using an electric screwdriver, control the torque to avoid slipping.Connection of the Seat Cushion and Gas Lift
Align the hole at the bottom of the seat cushion with the top of the gas lift and insert it until it is fully in place. If there is a snap-fit design at the connection between the base and the gas lift, listen for a 'click' sound to confirm that it is fixed. If it is a threaded connection, rotate the seat cushion until it is tightened.Installation of the Backrest
- Method 1: Insert the two sides at the bottom of the backrest into the armrest installation positions on the seat cushion. First, use two C screws to fix the bottom of the backrest from the bottom of the armrest brackets, and then align the installation holes at the back of the backrest with those on the seat cushion brackets. Use D screws (requiring two wrenches to cooperate) to lock and fix them.
- Method 2: Fix a steel plate to the groove on the back of the backrest with three thick long screws (first put on washers), and then insert the steel plate into the corresponding position on the tray and tighten it with screws. Key Point: The steel plate must be fully embedded in the groove to prevent the backrest from wobbling.
Installation of the Armrests
Press the button below the armrest surface, insert the left and right armrests into the armrest bracket holes respectively, and fix them on both sides of the seat cushion and backrest with four thick long screws. Tip: The height of the armrests should be level with the seat cushion. After installation, test whether the button elasticity is normal.Installation of the Headrest
Press the headrest against the middle position at the top of the backrest to make it fit the backrest, and tighten it with two E screws (or short thin screws) through the fixing buckles. Note: First screw in the screws about 3-4 turns and then tighten them one by one to prevent the headrest from tilting.Installation of the Decorative Cover
Unscrew the self-tapping screws at the bottom of the backrest, snap on the decorative cover, and then refix it with two self-tapping screws. This step is the finishing work, and ensure that the decorative cover is flat and seamless.
Safety Tips: Wear gloves during the installation process to prevent scratches. All screws should be tightened, but avoid excessive force that may cause slipping. After installation, shake the office chair to check whether all components are stable and free of abnormal noises.
