Office Chair Round Chair Installation
The installation steps for an office round chair are as follows:

Step 1: Prepare the Parts
Before installation, carefully check all the parts list to ensure that components such as screws, nuts, wheels, gas lift rods, trays, backrests, seats, and armrests are complete and undamaged. It is recommended to store screws by length to avoid confusion.
Step 2: Install the Chair Base and Wheels
Place the five-claw chair base flat on the ground and insert the wheels vertically into the five slots of the base, ensuring that the wheels are fully embedded and not loose. Some bases require screws to secure the wheels, in which case use the provided tools to tighten the screws.
Step 3: Secure the Tray to the Seat
Align the tray (base) with the mounting holes on the bottom of the seat and secure it with four short screws. Ensure that the direction of the tray matches the curvature of the seat to allow for smooth insertion of the gas lift rod later. Some designs require the base to be screwed onto the top of the seat first; follow the instructions to adjust the order.
Step 4: Connect the Backrest to the Seat
Position the groove of the backrest rod upward and align it with the mounting holes on the back of the seat, securing it with medium screws. If the backrest and seat are designed separately, connect them using clips or screws, ensuring that the backrest rod is vertical and not wobbly.
Step 5: Install the Gas Lift Rod and Chair Base
Insert the gas lift rod (five-star gas rod) vertically into the central hole of the tray, ensuring that the rod fits tightly against the tray. Then, align the chair base with the bottom of the gas lift rod and press down slowly until it is fully embedded, avoiding tilting that could cause damage. Some designs require placing the gas lift rod in the center of the base first and then connecting it to the tray.
Step 6: Secure the Backrest Rod to the Tray
Insert the end of the backrest rod into the side hole of the tray and tighten it with a nut. Check that the angle between the backrest rod and the tray conforms to ergonomic design, typically between 90ยฐ and 105ยฐ.
Step 7: Install the Footrest (if applicable)
If the chair is equipped with a footrest, first secure the footrest rod and footrest pad with screws, then insert the assembly into the footrest holder at the front of the seat. Use two small screws to block the small hole at the end of the footrest rod to prevent accidental withdrawal during use.
Step 8: Connect the Power (for massage models)
For a 9-point massage office chair, insert the power massage cord into the interface on the side of the seat, ensuring good contact and no tangling of the wires.
Step 9: Install the Armrests and Headrest
Secure the left and right armrests to the mounting holes on both sides of the seat with long screws, ensuring symmetry. If the chair is equipped with a headrest, insert the headrest bracket into the hole at the top of the backrest and secure it with screws or clips.
Precautions:
- Avoid excessive force during installation to prevent screw stripping or component cracking.
- Regularly check the tightness of screws, especially at frequently used joints.
- Choose gas lift rods that have passed safety certification to avoid explosion risks.
