Office Chair Review: 500 Yuan Range

Among office chairs in the 500 yuan price range, the JD.COM Jingzao Z5 Ultra stands out as a cost-effective choice. Here are the key points of its review:

Lumbar and Back Support Design: Precise Fit, Unique Sacral Support

The Z5 Ultra features a lumbar-back partitioned structure, but the sense of separation at the lumbar-back junction is weak. The waist support frame's retracted design makes the contact surface a soft mesh, preventing discomfort from hard edges. The waist support is slightly C-shaped, naturally fitting the curve of the waist and providing a wrapping sensation. The sacral support design is a rare highlight in this price range: the waist support tilts upward from the bottom, allowing for nearly full contact with the sacrum when sitting upright, effectively dispersing prolonged sitting pressure and reducing lumbar fatigue. This design offers a significant advantage among products in the 500 yuan price range.

Adjustment Functions: Multi-Dimensional Adaptation to Different Needs

• Waist Support: Supports three levels of force adjustment. The maximum level unlocks lumbar support for a slightly slouched sitting posture, preventing the waist from hanging empty, suitable for long hours of office work or short relaxation periods.
• Backrest: Supports 3 cm of height adjustment, synchronously adjusting the waist support range to accommodate users with heights ranging from 150-185 cm, addressing the pain point of "mismatched backrest height and height."
• Headrest: 2D dual-axis adjustment (height adjustment + large-angle rotation) can fit the curve of the cervical spine, relieving neck pressure, especially suitable for users who need to recline and rest.
• Armrests: Support height adjustment, forward-backward adjustment, and 360-degree rotation. The armrest surface is soft with sufficient sponge thickness, preventing arm suspension and enhancing comfort during typing or mouse operation.
• Seat Cushion: Equipped with a wired control seat depth adjustment, with a large sliding range, suitable for users with different leg lengths, preventing poor blood circulation in the legs after prolonged sitting.

Material and Comfort: Soft Mesh, Comfortable for Prolonged Sitting

The mesh material of the Z5 Ultra is soft, and the waist support contact surface has no plastic hard edges, offering superior comfort for prolonged sitting compared to most products in the same price range. The butterfly chassis design is stable, but the material is positioned at an entry-level, with the overall material focusing on functionality, balancing durability and cost control.

Scene Adaptability: Suitable for Both Office and Entertainment

Suitable for multiple scenarios such as sitting upright for office work and resting during lunch breaks for entertainment. Although the recline angle is not explicitly mentioned, the waist support adjustment function can accommodate the support needs in a slightly slouched sitting posture, meeting the requirements for short rest periods.

Summary: The JD.COM Jingzao Z5 Ultra stands out in the 500 yuan price range with its lumbar and back support design, multi-dimensional adjustment functions, and comfort, suitable for users with a limited budget but basic ergonomic needs.
