Office Chair Repair Putty
For repairing cracks in office chairs, materials such as woodworking-specific wood putty, wood epoxy resin adhesive, body filler (commonly known as putty), or furniture wood filler can be selected based on the crack situation.

Woodworking-specific wood putty: It is suitable for fine hairline cracks. Using wood powder as the base, its color can be adjusted to closely match the original wood color of the chair. After sanding, the repair marks are almost invisible. This putty can meet the load-bearing requirements for daily use and works well for repairing minor cracks that do not affect the overall structure, allowing the office chair to regain its original appearance while ensuring a certain level of strength.
Wood epoxy resin adhesive: When the office chair has wider or deeper cracks, wood epoxy resin adhesive is a better choice. Its bonding strength is much stronger than that of ordinary glue. After filling the cracks, it can form a solid whole with the wood. Under stress, the repaired parts with this adhesive are less likely to crack and fall off again, effectively enhancing the structural stability of the cracks and extending the service life of the office chair.
Body filler (commonly known as putty): It is an efficient material for repairing dents and cracks in furniture. It is recommended to choose epoxy resin-based products, which have a fast curing speed and strong adhesion. The curing time is usually 10 - 30 minutes, but the specific time should refer to the product instructions. Using body filler can quickly repair the cracks in office chairs, improving repair efficiency, and its good adhesion ensures the durability of the repair effect.
Furniture wood filler: It is a putty made by mixing wood powder with an adhesive and can be used to repair defects such as holes and cracks on the surface of wooden furniture. Its main material is matched with the corresponding wood powder according to the type of furniture wood. The adhesive has evolved from traditional lacquer to modern 101 glue and 502 glue. For large-area staining requirements, body filler is used. This material can be flexibly combined according to different woods and repair needs to achieve a good repair effect.
