Office Chair Repair Glue
Several types of glue can be selected for repairing office chairs, depending on the material and repair needs:

For wooden office chairs, woodworking glue, such as Deli woodworking glue, is recommended. This type of glue is characterized by fast drying, strong adhesion, and transparent and aesthetically pleasing curing, making it suitable for repairing cracks and delamination issues in wooden office chairs. After curing, it is almost colorless, does not affect the original texture of the wood, and has high bonding strength, meeting daily usage requirements. Additionally, slow-drying glue specifically for solid wood and rosewood can also be used for repairing wooden office chairs, especially in scenarios that require a longer time to adjust the bonding position. However, note that its drying time is longer, and it needs to be kept fixed until fully cured.
If repair robustness is pursued, 502 glue can be used as an alternative. 502 glue is an instant-drying adhesive with fast bonding speed, suitable for repairing small areas of damage or non-load-bearing parts. However, note its safety warnings: 502 glue releases heat during curing, which may irritate the skin. Avoid direct contact with the skin or eyes during use, and bonding is difficult to adjust afterward, requiring accurate positioning in one go. Additionally, 502 glue is brittle after curing and may not be suitable for parts that bear significant pressure for long periods.
For repairing non-load-bearing parts, such as decorative pieces made of plastic, leather, or fabric, consider using common office liquid glue or solid glue. For example, Deli 7303 liquid glue is characterized by fast drying and not easily causing material wrinkling, suitable for repairing paper materials such as documents and envelopes, as well as bonding lightweight plastics or fabrics. Deli 7093 solid glue, on the other hand, has the advantages of portability and being eco-friendly and non-sticky to hands, suitable for financial document sticking, crafting, and other scenarios. It can also be used for repairing non-load-bearing parts of office chairs, such as slight delamination of leather seats. However, note that the bonding strength of such glues is lower and not suitable for parts that bear tension or weight for long periods.
Summary: For wooden office chairs, prioritize woodworking glue or solid wood-specific glue; for fast and robust repairs, 502 glue can be used (with safety precautions); for non-load-bearing parts, liquid or solid glue can be used for temporary repairs. Before use, clean the repair surface to ensure it is free of oil or dust, and control the drying time according to the type of glue, using clamps if necessary to keep it fixed until fully cured.
