Office Chair Removal Tutorial
Admin October 12, 2026
Here is the removal tutorial for the Belcrum Office Chair BC03Q Deluxe Edition:

- Headrest part: First, pull the headrest to its highest position. Locate the thin metal strip in the middle, press it firmly and push it down. Once you feel the headrest's locking mechanism loosen, pull out the headrest. If the metal strip is difficult to press, you can use a discarded hard card to assist in the operation.
- Armrest part: Turn the entire chair upside down and place it on a high platform. Use the hexagonal screwdriver that comes with the box to loosen the screws under the armrests, thus completing the removal of the armrests.
- Backrest and base part: Also use the hexagonal screwdriver that comes with the box to remove the screws that secure the backrest, thereby removing the backrest.
- Separating the five-star base and the gas spring: Use a rubber mallet. If you don't have a rubber mallet, a regular hammer can also be used, but it will generate more noise. Strike each of the five feet of the five-star base upwards to separate the five-star base from the gas spring.
- Separating the gas spring from the base: Use a rubber mallet to strike the steel plate on the base to separate the gas spring from the base.
- Wheel part: Simply pull out the wheels with force.
Other office chair removal methods:
- A conventional method: Face the chair directly, step on the five-star base with your feet, and pull the lifting handle upwards to raise the chair to its highest position. Be careful not to release the handle. Hold both sides of the chair with your hands. Since the longer the chair has been used, the more force is required to pull it out upwards, you can shake it left and right while pulling it upwards to remove the gas rod.
- A method without using professional tools:
- Preparation tools: Hammer, hand drill (can be replaced with a hexagonal screwdriver), towel.
- Removal steps: First, remove the entire backrest composed of the headrest, armrests, and back frame. If the headrest is inserted and fixed with two screws, unscrew the two screws. If the armrest screws are on the back frame, remove them directly. If they are on the seat frame, there are three screws, which can be unscrewed by hand due to space constraints. Turn the chair over. Most of the back frame and the chassis of the chair are fixed with three screws. Remove these three screws directly and take down the back frame. Finally, separate the connection between the hydraulic rod and the chassis and the connection between the hydraulic rod and the chair feet.
