Office Chair Recline Extension

Admin October 12, 2026

The Qingxian ergonomic office chair OC1 upgraded version and the Qingxian Pro model both support the recline extension function, meeting the reclining needs in various scenarios.

The Qingxian ergonomic office chair OC1 upgraded version has been specifically optimized in terms of recline adjustment and headrest design. Its five-level recline adjustment function supports a maximum recline angle of 160ยฐ, covering usage scenarios from mild relaxation to deep afternoon naps. The headrest features an extended design, with a total front-to-back travel distance of 120mm, which is 40mm further back than traditional designs. Additionally, the upward tilt angle has been increased to 37ยฐ, and the lowest point has been lowered simultaneously. This adjustment allows the headrest to fit the neck curves of users with heights ranging from 155-185cm, preventing the neck from hanging in the air during reclining, especially suitable for long hours of office work or afternoon naps. The extension and angle optimization of the headrest essentially disperse neck pressure and reduce the risk of cervical fatigue by extending the support range and adjusting the support angle.

The Qingxian Pro model focuses more on the expandability of reclining scenarios. Its five-level adjustment function also supports a maximum recline angle of 160ยฐ, but it is additionally equipped with a detachable footrest. When reclined to the maximum angle and the footrest is extended, the chair can quickly transform into a near-horizontal 'nap bed' state, meeting the need for short rests of 1-2 hours. Furthermore, the Pro model supports recline damping force adjustment, allowing users to adjust the resistance during reclining according to their weight or usage habits, preventing reclining too quickly due to light damping or increasing operational burden due to heavy damping. This design is particularly suitable for user groups with significant weight differences. For example, lighter users can reduce the damping for easy reclining, while heavier users can increase the damping to ensure reclining stability.

The recline extension functions of both chair models are designed based on ergonomic principles, achieving a smooth transition from a 'sitting posture' to a 'semi-lying posture' by adjusting the seat angle, extending support components (such as headrests and footrests), or optimizing mechanical structures (such as damping adjustment). This design not only enhances comfort but also reduces health risks associated with prolonged sitting, such as lumbar disc herniation and cervical strain, by dispersing body pressure and reducing the duration of a single posture. For users who need to work at a desk for long hours or frequently switch between work and rest states, such functions have high practical value.
