Office Chair Recline Angle Adjustment
The methods for adjusting the recline angle of an office chair vary depending on the chair type and design. Common adjustment mechanisms include lever adjustment systems, knob adjustment systems, and pneumatic adjustment systems, with specific operations as follows:

The lever adjustment system is typically located near the right or left side beneath the seat. When operating, first locate the adjustment lever. If the chair has a locking function, gently pull up or push the lever to release the lock. Then, lean your body weight backward while adjusting the lever position to achieve a comfortable backrest angle. If the chair has a locking function, after adjusting to the desired angle, pull up or push the lever again to lock the position and ensure the backrest stays fixed.
The knob adjustment system is mostly located near the central support column at the bottom of the seat. Rotating the knob clockwise usually increases the backrest's resistance to reclining, suitable for users with a heavier weight or those who need more stable support; rotating it counterclockwise reduces the resistance, making the backrest easier to recline, suitable for users with a lighter weight or those who prefer flexible adjustments. Some chairs may be equipped with a separate knob for adjusting the recline angle, in which case you should follow the product manual for operation to ensure the adjustment effect meets expectations.
The pneumatic adjustment system is usually arranged together with the height adjustment lever, adjusting the recline angle through pushes in different directions. When using, gently pull the lever while leaning your body backward to adjust the backrest to a comfortable angle. After releasing the lever, the backrest will be fixed in the current position. Some chairs may be designed for continuous adjustment by continuously pressing the lever, allowing users to operate flexibly according to actual needs.
In addition, some office chairs adopt a more simplified adjustment method: after sitting on the chair, find the adjustment handle and pull it, then lean your back slightly backward and release the handle to fix the angle; if you need to return to the original position, continue pulling the handle and apply a slight force, and the backrest will automatically spring back. Such designs are usually intuitive to operate and suitable for quick adjustment needs.
Precautions: Before adjusting, ensure the chair is in a stable state to avoid tipping over due to improper operation; if the chair has not been used for a long time or the adjustment mechanism is stuck, you can gently shake the backrest or spray a small amount of lubricant; after adjustment, test the fixing effect of the backrest to ensure safety during use. Different brands and models of office chairs may have differences, so it is recommended to refer to the product manual or contact after-sales service for specific guidance.
