Office Chair Protective Design
The protective design of office chairs exhibits diverse characteristics based on different usage scenarios and requirements, primarily encompassing four major directions: anti-static, ergonomic health protection, emotion perception and adjustment, and safety restraint.

The core protective design of anti-static office chairs revolves around the electrostatic discharge system. They employ PA+carbon fiber composite conductive wheels, which form a grounding path through contact with the ground. In conjunction with specially designed chair foot metal components (such as cold-pressed, non-welded structures), they reduce resistance fluctuations at metal connection points to ensure stable current conduction. The lifting mechanism incorporates built-in copper current-conducting sheets, which, together with a conductive fiber mesh laid beneath the artificial leather seat surface, form a layered dissipation structure. This keeps the surface resistance within the range of 109ฮฉ as required by ESD standards, effectively preventing electrostatic buildup from damaging electronic components or the human body.
High-end executive office chairs focus on health protection for prolonged office work. They disperse lumbar spine pressure through adjustable lumbar supports and headrests, while a combination of high-density foam and genuine leather upholstery provides support and enhances tactile feel. A pneumatic lifting system allows users to adjust their sitting height according to their stature, preventing impaired leg circulation. Some designs also incorporate 4D armrests (adjustable forward, backward, up, down, left, right, and rotationally) to further accommodate different body types, achieving spinal protection from an ergonomic perspective.
AI emotion-sensing office chairs integrate sensor technology with active adjustment functions. Through sensors embedded in the armrests, they monitor heart rate and sitting posture pressure. Upon detecting user fatigue or negative emotions, the chair can automatically adjust the backrest angle (e.g., reclining by 15ยฐ-30ยฐ), armrest height, and activate a honeycomb pressure-relieving seat cushion to disperse pressure. The headrest integrates a sound therapy module that plays soothing music, complemented by a noise-reduction structure to minimize environmental interference. A retractable footrest module supports leg relaxation, forming a closed-loop protection system of "perception-adjustment-soothing."
Restraint-type office chairs are primarily used in safety protection scenarios (such as medical facilities and special workspaces). They employ a composite frame of steel and wood, with steel providing the main load-bearing capacity to prevent structural deformation, and wood reducing the cold feel of metal while assisting in pressure dispersion. A medium-density fiberboard base ensures even force distribution to avoid excessive local pressure. The internal high-density foam filling creates a restraining effect through moderate deformation, limiting the range of personnel movement while ensuring basic comfort, balancing safety and user experience.
