Office Chair Production Site
The production process at an office chair production site is rigorous and meticulous, covering multiple key steps.

Seat Frame Production: This is the foundational step in office chair production. Workers use welding to connect the ends, serving as intermediate supports and mechanisms for adjusting the seat position, ensuring the stability of the frame structure. At the same time, S-shaped steel springs are hooked to the front and back of the seat frame, providing a flexible suspension net for the seat and enhancing riding comfort. To further increase stability, workers will clamp iron rods horizontally across the springs. Next, the frame for the backrest of the seat is crafted, including components such as spine and lumbar support and armrest attachments. The burrs and rough spots on the steel are sanded down to ensure a smooth frame surface and prevent scratches to users.
Leather Processing: Workers evenly place smooth leather on a cutting table and cut it according to cardboard templates. During the cutting process, they work around the natural defects of the leather, precisely calculating the cutting positions to minimize leather waste as much as possible. Moreover, typically only one piece of leather is used for one office chair, reflecting strict control over material utilization.
Foam Cushion Production: When selecting foam cushions, workers choose hard foam for the contour cushioning of the chair and softer foam for the backrest to meet the different comfort requirements of various parts. At the same time, slits reflecting design features are cut into the backrest cushion, adding aesthetic appeal and improving backrest breathability.
Sewing and Assembly: Workers use chalk to draw lines on the corresponding positions of the leather and foam to ensure aligned cuts, followed by sewing. The filling is sewn onto the pattern pieces, and then the shell with the contour is sewn onto the sides. After sewing is complete, particle board is added outside the frame, wrapped with foam, and then covered with leather to complete the assembly of the seat body.
Base Installation: Workers screw the sliders onto the base and install mechanisms that work in conjunction with the sliders to enable functions such as forward and backward movement, height adjustment, and tilt adjustment of the seat. A hydraulic cylinder for adjusting the seat height is installed below it, giving the office chair a swivel function to meet the diverse needs of users.
In addition, some manufacturers also develop and produce ergonomic chairs, office chairs, nap chairs, staff chairs, etc. through mold development, enabling one-stop provision of all office chairs for a company.
