Office Chair Production Process
The production process of office chairs mainly includes five steps: raw material preparation, design and planning, cutting and forming, assembly, and quality inspection.

Raw Material Preparation
The production of office chairs requires the selection of appropriate materials. The chair frame is made of high-strength and tough steel to ensure structural stability. Components such as chair wheels and armrests are made of plastic, balancing portability and durability. Sponge provides comfortable support, while fabric or leather serves as the surface covering material for the seat, balancing breathability and aesthetics. Some high-end products may use memory foam or breathable mesh fabric to enhance the user experience.Design and Planning
Based on ergonomic principles, the design should fit users' sitting habits. For example, the curve of the chair back should support the lumbar spine, and the seat depth should accommodate different leg lengths. At the same time, the style is determined according to market demand, such as gaming chairs focusing on a cool appearance and office chairs emphasizing simplicity and practicality. During the design phase, 3D modeling is used to verify the structural rationality and reduce subsequent modification costs.Cutting and Forming
Metal components are precisely cut using laser cutting or water jet cutting, with an error controlled within 0.1mm. The chair frame is formed through stamping and bending processes, and key parts such as the rotating shaft require heat treatment to enhance hardness. Plastic components are formed by injection molding, with the mold temperature strictly controlled between 200-250ยฐC to ensure surface finish. Steel pipes are bent using hydraulic machines, with an angular deviation of no more than ยฑ1ยฐ, and the welds need to be ground and polished to remove burrs.Assembly
The chair frame and seat are fixed with screws or clips, and the armrests need to be installed simultaneously with the chair back to ensure symmetry. The chair wheels are silent universal wheels connected to the chair feet through axles. The seat frame is suspended with S-shaped steel springs, and the transverse rods clamp the springs to enhance load-bearing capacity. The back frame is welded and then subjected to anti-rust treatment. When cutting leather components, natural flaws should be avoided, and the density of the foam pad is controlled between 30-40kg/mยณ to balance support and softness.Quality Inspection
Structural strength testing involves simulating a 100kg load for 24 hours to detect the deformation of the chair frame. Stability testing requires that the chair wheels do not tip over on a plane inclined at 5ยฐ. Comfort evaluation includes the rebound time of the seat cushion (3-5 seconds is ideal) and breathability testing. Some factories adopt a dual verification method of 'visual inspection + tool inspection', such as using a colorimeter to check the uniformity of the leather and a vernier caliper to measure component dimensions, ensuring a product pass rate of over 99%.
