Office Chair Production Drawing
Admin October 16, 2026
The production of office chairs mainly involves two aspects: design drawing reference and actual production process. Currently, there are 3D drawings of ordinary office chair models, and the actual production requires multiple processes such as frame production, part processing, skin production, and assembly.

Design Drawing Reference
There are 3D drawings of ordinary office chair models, designed using Solidworks, with a file size of 101MB. However, this content is merely a collection of images, primarily for appreciation purposes. If you need to share these images, you must comply with the 'Disclaimer' in the 'More Drawings' section on the homepage of the relevant official account.
Actual Production Process
- Base Cushion Frame Production: Workers first place square steel tubes into a hydraulic press and bend them into a square base cushion frame with rounded corners at the four corners through the pressure of the hydraulic press. This step lays the foundation for the bottom structure of the office chair, ensuring stable support.
- Welding and Spring Installation: Weld the support steel plate to the opening of the frame to make the frame more robust. Then, hook the S-shaped springs onto the frame and connect three support steel bars to the springs in opposite directions. At this point, the internal structure of the base cushion is complete, providing elastic support for the subsequent installation of the seat cushion.
- Part Processing and Leather Treatment: The armrest joints and backrest of the chair are also welded and polished using similar methods. After that, use black leather to make the outer part of the chair. Place plastic templates for parts such as the headrest and armrest on top of the leather and use a utility knife to cut out pieces of black leather according to the template patterns. After cutting all the leather, glue the leather onto a harder foam cushion and cut out a slightly larger foam pad along the size of the leather.
- Seat Cushion and Backrest Production: To ensure comfort, use a softer, fluffy foam pad. First, cut it into a large square and then cut it into connected, non-separated rectangles along the measured spacing. Then, mark the leather according to the same spacing as the foam pad and fold and sew the leather to form the basic shape of the leather surface of the seat backrest. Finally, sew the leather and decorations of the seat cushion together.
- Assembly and Adjustment: Wrap the surface of the metal frame with foam pads and then place the sewn outer skin on top for decoration. Fix the baffle and the frame with screws, andๆผๆฅ (assemble) the adjustable height armrests, hydraulic rods, pneumatic rods, and the bottom support rods of the seat with the metal base to ensure that the office chair can be freely raised and lowered. Finally, install the wheels of the seat at the bottom and insert the headrest and armrests into specific positions to complete the production of the office chair.
