Office Chair Production
The production process of office chairs includes several steps such as frame making, leather processing and cutting, foam cushion making, assembly and stitching, base and functional component installation, and core component integration.

Frame Making: This is the fundamental step in production. Workers use hydraulic-powered machines to bend No. 14 steel pipes into the shape of the bottom cushion frame. After connecting the ends, they weld steel bars in the middle, which are used to support the mechanism for adjusting the seat position. S-shaped steel springs are hung from the front to the back of the seat frame to form an elastic net, while horizontal bars are placed to enhance stability and support. The back frame of the chair includes components such as the spine and armrest attachments. After production, burrs and rough areas on the steel are polished.
Leather Processing and Cutting: Workers evenly spread the smooth leather on a cutting table and cut out the required patterns according to cardboard templates. During the cutting process, they skillfully avoid natural flaws in the leather to reduce waste and ensure consistent color and texture in the cut pieces.
Foam Cushion Making: For the back of the chair, workers cut foam pads. Usually, hard foam is chosen for contour cushioning, and softer foam is used for the back part. Slits are cut into the back cushion to reflect design features.
Assembly and Stitching: Workers first mark lines with chalk on the corresponding positions of the leather and foam to ensure the cuts are aligned before stitching. They sew the filling onto the pattern pieces and then sew the contoured shell onto the sides. After that, they add particleboard outside the frame, wrap it with foam, and finally cover it with leather.
Base and Functional Component Installation: Workers screw the sliders onto the base and install the mechanisms that work with the sliders to enable functions such as forward and backward movement, height adjustment, and tilt adjustment of the seat. At the same time, a hydraulic cylinder is installed to support the rotation and lifting of the seat.
Core Component Integration: The core components of an office swivel chair include the seat cushion, backrest, five-star base, casters, and a pneumatic height adjustment system. The seat height can be adjusted using a pneumatic rod, and rotation buffering and movement locking functions are achieved through elastic brackets and rollers.
