Office Chair Processing Tutorial
The processing tutorial for office chairs mainly includes the following steps:

I. Making the Base and Frame
First, a sturdy base needs to be welded. Install steel springs from the front and insert support frames between the springs to complete the basic structure of the seat frame. At the same time, use a hydraulic press to bend thumb-thick steel pipes into the seat frame. After open-end welding, add a steel bar in the center to enhance stability. Then, hang S-shaped springs and fix the support strips horizontally. The backrest frame needs to be made separately, including parts such as lumbar support and armrests. After welding, use sandpaper or grinding tools to smooth out the burrs and rough parts on the steel bars to ensure a smooth surface without sharp edges.
II. Processing Leather and Foam
For leather processing, first lay it flat on the workbench. Cut the leather for different parts according to the pre-designed cardboard templates, avoiding areas with leather flaws during cutting. The foam padding should be cut according to the leather size. Different densities of foam should be selected for different parts. For example, firm foam should be used for the seat and backrest to provide support. After aligning the leather and foam, use a sewing machine to sew them together. The stitching should be even and firm to ensure a tight fit between the leather and foam.
III. Assembling the Seat
Install a chipboard on the backrest frame, wrap it completely with foam, and then put on the leather cushion. Add a plastic cover on the back to fix the structure. Install the welded metal frame with particleboard, foam, and the leather covering layer in sequence to form a complete seat body. Screw on a plastic cover plate at the bottom of the seat and install the base, support rods, and support plate in sequence to ensure that all components are firmly connected.
IV. Installing the Lifting and Rotating Components
Install a hydraulic rod for the lifting valve seat in the center of the bottom of the seat. This component should have both lifting control and 360-degree rotation functions. During installation, ensure that the hydraulic rod is tightly connected to the base. Control the lifting range through the regulating valve. Test the flexibility of the rotating component to avoid jamming or abnormal noises.
V. Installing the Base and Casters
Choose an aluminum base to reduce the overall weight. Install 5 casters in the preset grooves of the base. The casters should be evenly distributed to ensure stability. After installation, test the smoothness of the caster rolling and check whether the braking function works properly.
VI. Installing the Headrest and Armrests
Install an automotive-style headrest at the top of the backrest. The height of the headrest should be adjustable to accommodate users of different heights. Fix the armrests on both sides to the backrest frame with screws. The surface of the armrests should be covered with leather or soft materials to improve comfort. After installation, check the stability of the armrests and the angle adjustment function.
