Office Chair Pressure Plate Production
The production methods for office chair pressure plates can be divided into three categories based on different materials and processes: wooden, simple, and metal/composite materials. The specific steps are as follows:

1. Wooden Office Chair Pressure Plate Production (Furniture Pressure Plate Process)
- Raw Material Preparation: Select woods such as birch and pine, process them into wood chips or fibers, and prepare adhesives like urea-formaldehyde resin and phenolic resin. The adhesive ratio should be adjusted according to the characteristics of the wood to ensure bonding strength.
- Adhesive Mixing and Laying: Thoroughly mix the wood chips/fibers with the adhesive to ensure uniform attachment, then lay them on a mold or conveyor belt to form a mat with the required thickness and density. This step requires controlling the uniformity of raw material distribution to avoid local density differences.
- Pre-pressing and Hot-pressing: First, apply preliminary pressure to the mat to expel air and increase density; then, hot-press it under high temperature (100-200ยฐC) and high pressure to cure the adhesive and form a sturdy panel. The hot-pressing temperature and time should be adjusted according to the type of adhesive.
- Cooling and Post-processing: After natural or forced cooling to set the panel, cut off irregular edges and sand the surface to make it smooth and flat. Finally, conduct quality inspection and package for storage upon passing.
2. Simple Office Chair Pressure Plate Production (Quick Pressure Plate Method)
- Tool and Material Preparation: Tools such as wooden boards, hammers, wooden nails, electric drills, and wrenches are required. The thickness of the wooden board should be selected according to load-bearing requirements, and the wooden nails should match the material of the board to avoid cracking.
- Production Steps:
- Saw the wooden board according to the design dimensions to ensure neat edges.
- Mark the fixing points on the wooden board and drill holes with an electric drill. The hole diameter should be slightly smaller than the diameter of the wooden nails to enhance the fixing effect.
- Attach the pressure plate (such as metal or plastic) to the wooden board, fix it with wooden nails, trim the edges, and finally sand the surface until smooth. This method is suitable for temporary or low-cost scenarios but has limited load-bearing capacity.
3. Metal/Composite Material Office Chair Pressure Plate Production (Steps Related to Chair Production)
- Material Preparation: Includes panels (such as metal panels or composite materials), metal corner brackets, sponges, etc. The metal panel should be pre-cut to the design dimensions, and the sponge is used to wrap the backrest to enhance comfort.
- Production Steps:
- Assemble the panels and sand the surface to ensure no burrs; cut out the shape and round the corners to avoid sharp edges.
- Assemble the stool structure with metal corner brackets, drill holes in the backrest for subsequent connection; after connecting the backrest part, wrap it with a sponge and cover and fix it with fabric or leather. This method is suitable for modern office chairs and requires attention to structural stability and ergonomic design.
Different processes should be selected according to material characteristics, usage scenarios, and cost requirements. During the production process, safety regulations should be strictly followed to ensure that the quality of the finished product meets standards.
