Office Chair Petal Design
Admin October 08, 2026
Office chair-related petal design products are mainly divided into two categories: petal cushions and petal chairs, achieving lumbar support or artistic decoration functions through unique shapes.

Petal Cushions: Ergonomic Functional Design
Petal cushions achieve dynamic support through outward-extending 'petal' structures and are mainly divided into three types:
- Gusi Petal Cushion: It adopts a three-segment design with left and right double support wings and a central support area, filling the gap between the waist and the chair back through adaptive angle adjustments. Its mechanical structure can disperse the pressure from prolonged sitting, making it especially suitable for people with abnormal lumbar curvature or those who need to work at a desk for long periods.
- Petal Cushion with Lumbar Support: It forms a wrap-around support through a raised and deepened cushion design, allowing the hips to naturally sink to a reasonable position and reducing bad postures such as crossing the legs. Its weight-bearing range (100-160 jin) is clearly marked, demonstrating its adaptability to users of different body types.
- Ordinary Petal Cushion: It requires the user to actively adjust the fit between the back and the cushion curve, achieving the effect of relieving lower back pain through passive posture correction. This type of product is more suitable for people with a balanced body type who have a certain amount of core strength and good sitting habits.
Petal Chairs: The Fusion and Innovation of Artistry and Practicality
Petal chairs transform floral shapes into seat structures through bionic design and mainly include two types of products:
- Designer Creative Models: Represented by the Peacock Chair and Lily Chair, they transform curled feathers or blooming petals into the curves of the chair back and armrests. For example, the Peacock Chair achieves multi-point support through its bionic curled structure, while the Lily Chair optimizes neck and waist support through its layered petal design. These products often use solid wood or metal frames paired with elastic fabrics, balancing aesthetic appeal with seating comfort.
- Dreamy Petal Chairs: They use resin materials and ink-dot dyeing techniques to simulate the shape of budding flowers. Their semi-transparent texture and soft colors are suitable for the decorative needs of modern office spaces. At the same time, they provide basic support functions through streamlined shell designs, focusing more on visual atmosphere creation rather than long-term use scenarios.
Both types of products achieve functional innovation through petal shapes: cushion types focus on ergonomic support, while chair types emphasize spatial aesthetic expression, together forming a unified solution of function and form in office scenarios.
