Office Chair Perforated for Breathability
The perforated and breathable design of office chairs is mainly reflected in the layout of breathable holes and the selection of materials, promoting air circulation through scientific design and helping to expel heat and moisture.

Layout of Breathable Holes
The layout of breathable holes is the core of the breathable design of office chairs. Most office chairs have breathable holes concentrated in the middle and upper back area, especially corresponding to the position of the spine, roughly between the shoulder blades and the lumbar spine. This area is the most prone to sweating on the back, and the breathable holes can directly act on the key heat dissipation area, effectively improving breathability. Some ergonomically designed office chairs also have auxiliary breathable holes set on the edges of both sides of the backrest, which, together with the core holes on the back, form air convection channels to further enhance ventilation. A few high-end brands have also designed narrow strip-shaped breathable holes at the top edge of the backrest to assist in expelling the rising hot air from the back, forming a more comprehensive heat dissipation system.
Material Selection
The selection of materials is also crucial for breathability. Perforated seats usually use high-quality PU or genuine leather materials. The hole designs of these materials can promote air circulation and help expel heat and moisture from the body surface. There are differences in the breathable hole designs of different types of chairs: the breathable holes on mesh backrests are dense small holes distributed throughout the entire backrest, providing excellent breathability; the breathable holes on leather backrests are mostly regularly arranged circular or oval shapes, concentrated in the middle and upper core heat dissipation area, balancing aesthetics and functionality; the breathable holes on memory foam backrests may be hidden under the surface texture, achieving breathability through the pores of the material itself. Although the holes are not visually obvious, they can still effectively dissipate heat.
Production Process
In terms of the production process, CNC ventilation seat perforating machines provide technical support for the breathable design of office chairs. This equipment controls the perforating path through CNC system programming, accurately avoiding the stitching areas on the seat surface and creating ventilation holes on the seat surface. This technology not only improves production efficiency but also ensures a more reasonable distribution of breathable holes, thereby improving the air circulation environment between the human body and the seat surface and enhancing user comfort.
