The Office Chair is Peeling
The following methods can be chosen to deal with the peeling of an office chair based on the peeling area and the degree of aging:

If the peeling area is small and the leather is not severely damaged, using neoprene glue for pasting is a viable option. First, clean the dust and debris from the peeling area. Then, evenly apply the glue on the back of the leather and the corresponding position on the chair. After the glue is slightly dry and sticky, precisely align and paste it. Next, press it with a heavy object for a while to ensure a firm bond. This method is relatively simple to operate and has a low cost, effectively repairing small-area peeling problems.
For slight peeling and wear with the overall leather in good condition, leather renovator is a good choice. First, clean the leather surface, and then evenly spray or apply the renovator according to the product instructions. Usually, multiple operations are required to restore the luster and softness of the leather while covering up the peeling marks. Using a leather renovator can restore a certain degree of aesthetics to the office chair and extend its service life.
For small damaged peeling areas, leather repair paste is more suitable. Choose a repair paste with a color similar to that of the chair's leather. After cleaning the peeling area, apply it evenly and smooth it out with a scraper or finger to make the repair paste blend with the surrounding leather. After it dries, sanding and polishing can be carried out to further make the repaired area fit in with the surrounding leather. This method can effectively repair small damages and restore a flat surface to the leather.
You can also use leather repair patches or strong self-adhesive leather repair patches. Leather repair patches can be pasted directly without glue. They have a genuine leather texture, fit well without curling at the edges, and are wear-resistant and snug. Strong self-adhesive leather repair patches only need to be cut to the appropriate size and pasted directly. These two methods are simple to operate and can quickly solve the peeling problem.
If the peeling area is large or the leather has severely aged, replacing the leather is necessary. First, measure the size of the part to be replaced, purchase suitable leather material, carefully remove the old leather while keeping the fixing holes and methods intact, then cover the new leather, and install and fix it in the original way using nails, clips, or special leather fixing tools. Although replacing the leather has a relatively high cost, it can completely solve the peeling problem and make the office chair look brand new.
