Peter Opsvik drew inspiration from his long-term observation of equestrians' postures. He noticed that skilled riders could maintain an upright and elegant posture, with good upper body balance, even after sitting on horseback for extended periods. This observation led him to propose the concept of "postural diversity," emphasizing that chairs should support users in freely changing their sitting positions (such as sitting upright, backward, or sideways) to prevent muscle fatigue caused by fixed postures. 1. Saddle-shaped Seat: The seat features a concave design with a central groove that naturally opens the hip joints and keeps the body in a forward-leaning position.
