Office Chair Operation Guide
Here is the office chair operation guide:

General Adjustment Methods
- Seat Height Adjustment
Locate the hand control device and pull up the lever or turn the knob to adjust the height (for pneumatic models, repeatedly push the lever up and down to raise and lower the seat). When adjusting, ensure the following:
- When standing, the front of the chair should be below your knees; when sitting, your feet should be flat on the ground.
- When working on a computer, your eyes should be level with the monitor, or adjust the seat height to match the monitor.
- When working at a desk, your elbows should be level with the desktop.
- For long periods of sitting, keep your feet flat on the ground; if the chair is too high, use a footrest.
Seat Angle Adjustment
Recline slightly to an angle of 100-110 degrees to reduce lumbar pressure and keep your back against the chair back.Lumbar Support Adjustment
Adjust the lumbar support to the point that supports the natural curve of your lumbar spine, avoiding hard pressure. Taking the Ergoup E3pro as an example:
- Lumbar support height adjustment: Hold the connector and move it up and down slightly (cyclic gear; after reaching the highest gear, it will automatically slide down).
- Forward and backward locking: When the control lever is in the upper gear, it locks; in the lower gear, it adapts to your lumbar curve. After adjustment, pull it up again to fix it.
- Reclining support: When reclining, the lumbar support automatically slides down to prevent your waist from hanging in the air.
Armrest Adjustment
Adjust the armrests so that when your elbows hang naturally, your forearms can rest comfortably, and the angle between your upper and lower arms is close to 100 degrees. Taking the Ergoup E3pro as an example: Press the button on one side of the armrest handle and lift or press down to adjust the height.Headrest Adjustment
- Sihoo S300: The headrest is integrated with the chair back and can be adjusted forward and backward to fit different heights.
- Ergoup E3pro: Hold the neck pillow with both hands and move it up and down to adjust the height. Pushing it forward and backward is a cyclic gear. Pull the rear end of the component to rotate it.
- Seat Reclining Adjustment
Taking the Ergoup E3pro as an example:
- Height adjustment: Get off the seat cushion and lift the wire control adjuster (lift it again to lower it).
- Reclining: Pull the adjuster backward, lean back with force on your back to the desired angle, and then release it to lock.
- Returning to the upright position: Pull the adjuster backward and lean forward, and the backrest will automatically return to the upright position.
Footrest Adjustment
Taking the Ergoup E3pro as an example: Pull out the footrest and flip it upward, and place your feet on it.Seat Depth Adjustment
Taking the Ergoup E3pro as an example: Pull the wire control adjuster forward to move the seat cushion, and lock it in place after resetting.Chair Back Height Adjustment
Taking the Ergoup E3pro as an example: Hold the chair back with both hands and move it up and down slightly (cyclic gear; after reaching the highest gear, it will automatically slide down).
Tips for Prolonged Sitting
- Sitting continuously for more than 90 minutes is considered prolonged sitting. Take a simple stretch every 30 minutes (such as hip joint stretching, lower back relaxation, and shoulder-opening exercises).
- Change your sitting position every 15-30 minutes (such as leaning forward, reclining, or shifting your weight to the side) to prevent muscle stiffness.
