Office Chair Operation Buttons
Admin October 09, 2026
The functions of office chair operation buttons are mainly divided into three categories: basic adjustments, special/smart functions, and specific series operations.

I. Basic Adjustment Functions
- Seat Height Adjustment: By pressing or lifting the lever beneath the seat, the internal gas lift can be controlled to achieve stepless height adjustment, catering to the desktop height needs of users of different heights.
- Backrest Angle/Elasticity Adjustment: The knob or lever on the side or bottom of the backrest can adjust the recline resistance or lock the backrest at a specific angle (such as 90ยฐ for office mode or 135ยฐ for rest mode).
- Seat Depth Adjustment: Some chairs are equipped with an independent sliding rail mechanism, allowing the seat to move forward and backward via a lever or button to optimize thigh support and reduce fatigue from prolonged sitting.
- Lumbar Support Position Adjustment: The up/down buttons or knob on the lumbar support can adjust its height to fit the natural curve of the lumbar spine, providing precise support.
- Recline Lock/Damping Adjustment: The lever can be used to set the maximum recline angle of the backrest or adjust the damping force during recline to accommodate the comfort needs of users of different weights.
II. Special/Smart Functions
- Electric Adjustment Function: High-end smart chairs or executive chairs are equipped with electric motors, allowing one-touch control of backrest extension/retraction and footrest elevation via a control panel, enhancing operational convenience.
- One-Touch Mode Switching: Preset modes such as โOffice,โ โRest,โ and โMovie Watchingโ are available. Pressing the corresponding button automatically adjusts the backrest angle, seat depth, and lumbar support position to the preset parameters.
- USB Charging Port: A USB port integrated on the armrest side or base supports charging of mobile phones, tablets, and other devices, meeting the needs of mobile office scenarios.
III. Specific Operations for the Sihoo Series
- Sihoo S300: The headrest and backrest are designed as a single unit, supporting forward and backward adjustment to fit different head positions; the lumbar pillow can be independently adjusted in height to strengthen lumbar support.
- Sihoo H300: Remote control is achieved through a smart app, including body type adaptation (automatic parameter adjustment based on user height and weight), office environment adaptation (adjusting seat height to match desktop height), armrest adjustment (multi-dimensional adjustment including up/down, forward/backward, and rotation), and scenario adaptation (switching between office and rest modes), while also supporting fine adjustment of the lumbar support position.
The design of operation buttons aims to meet ergonomic needs, allowing users to select corresponding functions based on their habits and scenarios to enhance comfort and health during prolonged sitting.
