Office Chair for Office Use
Office chairs are chairs equipped for the convenience of work in daily work and social activities, but they have quality and safety hazards, and the installation methods vary among different models.

Quality and Safety Aspects
In recent years, there have been some issues regarding the quality and safety of office chairs. On March 2, 2023, the United States and Canada initiated a recall of office chairs manufactured in China due to the potential for the backrests to break, posing a risk of falls. At that time, 12 reports had been received, including 10 injury reports. This indicates that some office chairs have defects in the structural strength of their backrests, making them unable to withstand the pressure during normal use, leading to a risk of breakage and posing safety hazards to users. On September 30, 2024, the State Administration for Market Regulation conducted a national supervision and inspection of office chairs and found that 15 batches of products were unqualified, with stability issues being particularly prominent. Stability is an important performance indicator for office chairs. Office chairs with poor stability are prone to tipping over during use, affecting the safety and work experience of users. On January 16, 2025, the United States initiated a recall of WorkPro Momentum office chairs manufactured in China because the bolts might fail, posing a risk of falls. Seven reports had been received, including two minor injuries. Bolts, as key components connecting various parts of an office chair, can cause parts to loosen or even fall off if they fail, leading to a risk of falls.
Installation Methods
The installation methods of office chairs vary among different models. Take the 2022A office chair as an example. During installation, materials need to be prepared first, then the base casters are installed, followed by the installation of the chassis using screws J and K in conjunction with gasket L. Then, screw K is installed again. When installing the armrests, screws and screw sleeves are used, and finally, the base is placed in to complete the installation. The 1011A office chair, on the other hand, is installed according to a video. Insert the A L screws and place the gaskets. When installing the seat armrests, they need to be fixed first and then tightened. These different installation methods require users to carefully read the instruction manual or watch the installation video during installation and follow the correct steps to ensure that the office chair is installed firmly and used safely.
