Narrow Office Chair

It is recommended to choose the Sihoo M59AS, TOAI Star Wing Chair, or the ¥239 Mini Portable Office Chair, with the final decision depending on space, height, and budget.

I. Core Parameter Adaptability Analysis

1. Space Adaptability:

   • The Sihoo M59AS has an armrest width of only 56cm when retracted, and the TOAI Star Wing Chair has a width of 55cm. Both can easily fit under an 80cm-wide desk, making them suitable for small apartments or compact office spaces.
   • The ¥239 Mini model features a flush armrest design and a narrower body, allowing it to be fully stored under a desk, maximizing space utilization.

2. Height Adaptability:

   • The Sihoo M59AS has a fixed seat depth of 46cm, making it suitable only for users of average height (165-175cm). Those with longer thighs may experience their legs hanging.
   • The TOAI Star Wing Chair has an adjustable seat depth range of 42-48cm, covering the needs of shorter users (≤165cm) to those of average height. However, users over 175cm may find the headrest difficult to align due to the backrest height of only 55cm.
   • The Xia Cai Mu Fit2 has an adjustable seat depth range of 44-50cm, offering the broadest adaptability, but it weighs 18.5kg, making it more cumbersome to move.

3. Ceiling Height Adaptability:

   • For ceiling heights below 2.6m, it is advisable to choose low-back models (such as the Sihoo M59AS with a backrest height of 58cm and the TOAI Star Wing Chair with a backrest height of 55cm) to avoid a cramped feeling.
   • The Xia Cai Mu Fit2 has a backrest height of 62cm, suitable for spaces with a ceiling height of ≥2.6m.

II. Cost-Effectiveness and Functional Priorities

1. Sufficient Budget (≥¥3000):

   • Choose the Xia Cai Mu Fit2, which features dynamic lumbar support technology certified by the EU and the US. It offers comprehensive adjustability (seat depth, armrests, and backrest) and long-term durability, making it ideal for users with high comfort requirements.

2. Cost-Conscious (¥500-1500):

   • The Sihoo M59AS (14.2kg) features a lightweight design, suitable for women or scenarios requiring frequent layout adjustments, but users must accept the limitation of a non-adjustable seat depth.
   • The TOAI Star Wing Chair (13.8kg) is even lighter and offers a broader range of seat depth adjustment, but its shorter backrest makes it more suitable for flexible use in small spaces.

3. Limited Budget (≤¥300) and Very Small Space:

   • Directly choose the ¥239 Mini model, which comes with basic functions (height-adjustable hydraulic rod, silent universal wheels) and a thickened cushion that remains comfortable even after prolonged sitting, making it suitable for temporary or home office use.

III. Tips to Avoid Pitfalls

1. Be wary of low-priced models claiming to be 'all-in-one'. Most have armrests that cannot be retracted, resulting in a larger actual footprint.
2. Pay special attention to the gas lift (must be SGS/TUV certified), mesh elasticity, and edge finishing to avoid cushion deformation or abnormal noise when reclining.
3. Confirm the warranty period (recommended ≥3 years) and the replacement cost of wear-and-tear parts (such as wheels and gas lifts). Prioritize models that are easy to assemble.
