When selecting, pay attention to the completeness of seat functions, such as whether it has a USB charging port, which will affect subsequent wiring connection needs.
• Adapter Plate: Used to connect the seat to the base, ready-made products can be purchased, or you can make one yourself by punching holes in a steel plate. When making it yourself, ensure the thickness of the steel plate and the precision of the hole positions to match the seat's fixing points.
• Swivel Chair Base: Choose a model with universal wheels to ensure mobility. The load-bearing capacity of the base should match the weight of the seat to prevent tipping during use.
• Screws, Nuts, and Other Accessories: Includes six screws for fixing the seat to the adapter plate (an additional four screws are needed for structural fixation when upgrading the front passenger seat), screws for connecting the steel plate to the armrests, etc. Select the corresponding model according to the hole size specifications to avoid slipping or loosening.
• Wiring and Power Supply: If the seat has USB charging functionality, connect the wiring to the power supply; when upgrading the front passenger seat, prepare batteries and adapters to ensure the normal operation of electric functions (such as adjusting the backrest).
• Custom Steel Plate: Required when upgrading the front passenger seat to an office chair. The steel plate should have 16 pre-drilled holes (10 for fixing the seat, 6 for fixing the armrests; if no armrests are needed, 10 holes are sufficient) and be equipped with guide wheels for sliding functionality.

Related to Old Ergonomic Chair Modification

• Adjustable Armrests: Can replace the fixed armrests of the original chair, allowing height adjustment through a gas spring or mechanical structure to enhance comfort. Ensure the armrests are securely connected to the chair back during installation to prevent wobbling.
• Silent Wheels: Replace the ordinary wheels of the original chair to reduce noise during movement, suitable for wooden floors or scenarios requiring a quiet environment. When selecting, pay attention to the wheel material (such as PU wheels) and load-bearing capacity to avoid scratching the floor or damaging the chair.
