Office Chair Manufacturing Process
The office chair manufacturing process generally includes steps such as design and raw material preparation, cutting and processing, assembly and welding, processing and coating, measurement and adjustment, upholstery and detail handling, and quality inspection and packaging.

Design and Raw Material Preparation: Office chair design is carried out based on market demand and design requirements, covering aspects such as appearance, materials, and functionality. Subsequently, raw materials and accessories required for production, including wooden boards, metal tubes, sponges, and fabrics, are prepared according to design drawings and specifications.
Cutting and Processing: Wooden boards and metal tubes are cut into the required shapes and sizes as per design drawings. Mechanical equipment such as planers, drill presses, and milling machines are used to process the raw materials to meet manufacturing requirements, such as cutting metal tubes to the appropriate lengths in preparation for subsequent assembly.
Assembly and Welding: The cut metal tubes are connected through welding processes to form the chair frame structure. At the same time, accessories such as armrests and seat brackets are installed on the frame to ensure assembly quality and stability. For example, square steel tubes are placed in a hydraulic press and bent into square bottom pad frames with rounded corners at the four corners, support steel plates are welded to the frame openings, S-shaped springs are hooked onto the frame, and support steel bars are connected.
Processing and Coating: The seat wooden boards are sanded and painted to enhance their gloss and protective properties. Metal components undergo anti-corrosion treatment and chromium plating to improve their appearance and durability, thereby extending the service life of the office chairs.
Measurement and Adjustment: After assembly and coating are completed, the office chairs are measured and adjusted. Adjustments are made by checking indicators such as seat deflection, height, and sturdiness to ensure that the chairs comply with ergonomic principles and quality requirements, providing comfort to users.
Upholstery and Detail Handling: Upholstery materials such as sponges and fabrics are fixed to the exterior of the seats to create seat cushions and backrests. Through meticulous fabric craftsmanship, the office chairs are made comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. For example, black leather is used to make parts of the chair's exterior. Plastic templates for components such as back pillows and armrests are placed on top of the leather, and the leather is cut according to the template patterns using a utility knife. The leather is then glued onto harder foam cushions, slightly larger foam pads are cut out to make the seat cushions and backrests of the office chairs, softer fluffy foam pads are used to increase comfort, and the leather is pleated and sewn.
Quality Inspection and Packaging: The produced office chairs undergo quality inspections to check the quality and connections of each component. After passing the inspection, the office chairs are packaged and labeled for transportation and sales.
