Office Chair Making Tutorial
The office chair making tutorial is divided into two types according to different types: ordinary office chairs and swivel office chairs. The specific production processes are as follows:

Ordinary Office Chair Production Process
Frame Making
Use square steel pipes to bend into a square base frame with rounded corners using a hydraulic press to ensure structural stability. Then, weld support steel plates and close the frame openings to form a basic load-bearing structure.Spring and Steel Bar Installation
Evenly hook S-shaped springs onto the frame edges and connect them with three support steel bars to form an elastic support system. Pay attention to evenly spacing the springs to avoid uneven local stress.Armrest and Backrest Welding
Finely grind the armrest interfaces before welding them onto the frame, and simultaneously complete the welding of the backrest frame. Ensure that the welding points are free of burrs to avoid scratching the leather during subsequent use.Leather Cutting and Processing
Cover a plastic template over black leather and precisely cut out the part surface materials using a utility knife. Paste the leather onto a harder foam cushion and cut out slightly larger foam pads to reserve sewing allowances.Seat Cushion and Backrest Making
Cut softer, fluffy foam pads into connected rectangles and mark the fold positions on the leather surface at intervals before sewing to form a three-dimensional cushioning structure. Sew the leather edges of the seat cushion with decorative strips to enhance aesthetics.Frame Wrapping and Assembly
Wrap the metal frame with foam pads, slip on the sewn leather cover, and secure the decorative strips. Install a cover plate to close the frame, assemble the lifting armrests, hydraulic rods, pneumatic rods, and bottom support rods to complete the basic assembly.Wheel and Accessory Installation
Install seat wheels at the ends of the bottom support rods to ensure smooth rotation. Insert the headrest and armrests into the preset slots to complete the final assembly.
Swivel Office Chair Production Process
Base Welding
Weld a sturdy five-claw or three-claw base and install steel springs from the front, securing them into the support frame to form an elastic cushioning structure. Check that the spring tension is consistent to avoid tilting.Backrest Frame Welding
After completing the seat frame, weld the backrest frame and grind the interfaces. The backrest angle should conform to ergonomic design, typically set at a 100ยฐ-110ยฐ incline.Leather and Sponge Processing
Flatten the leather and cut it according to the template. Cut sponge blocks of different densities: soft sponges for seat cushioning and hard sponges for backrest shaping. Sew the leather and sponge together using a sewing machine, reinforcing the edges to prevent unraveling.Frame Wrapping
Sequentially install particleboard and sponge foam layers onto the welded frame, and finally wrap it with leather. The particleboard should be cut precisely to ensure a snug fit with the frame without gaps.Support Structure Installation
Screw in a plastic cover plate under the seat, install the base, support rods, and support plate. The support plate should be aligned with the center of the base to ensure stability during rotation.Swivel and Lifting Device Installation
Insert the hydraulic rod of the lifting valve seat and control the lifting range (usually 45-55cm) using an adjustment valve. Install a 360-degree swivel bearing and test its smooth rotation.Base and Accessory Installation
Secure an aluminum base with casters, ensuring smooth rotation without jamming. Install the headrest and armrest parts, adjust them to a comfortable height, and tighten the screws to complete the final debugging.
