Admin October 12, 2026

Office chair maintenance services include daily cleaning, regular inspection and repair, maintenance advice, lubrication of mechanical parts, inspection of gas cylinders, and tightening of connecting screws.

Daily Cleaning and Maintenance: The office chair should be thoroughly cleaned every week. Use a damp cloth to wipe the chair body, avoiding the use of corrosive cleaners such as strong acids and alkalis to prevent damage to the furniture's surface coating. During cleaning, ensure all parts including the backrest, seat, and armrests are covered, paying special attention to removing dust from the crevices to maintain overall cleanliness.

Regular Inspection and Repair: Conduct a structural safety inspection of the office chair every quarter, focusing on checking for loose screws, aging springs, and cracked chair legs. For any issues identified, promptly replace damaged parts (such as broken armrests or worn-out casters) or adjust the structure (such as fixing a tilted backrest) to ensure the chair functions properly.

Maintenance Advice: Avoid exposing the office chair to direct sunlight for extended periods to prevent material deformation and fading. Do not allow heavy objects to strike the chair to avoid structural damage. Regularly use dehumidifying equipment or place desiccants to prevent wooden or metal parts from becoming deformed due to moisture. Additionally, avoid jumping on the chair or applying excessive force when adjusting it to extend its service life.

Lubrication of Mechanical Parts: Mechanical parts of the office chair, such as adjustment levers, gears, and swivel wheels, are prone to sticking or noise due to friction. It is recommended to lubricate key parts with silicone oil or grease every six months, focusing on the height adjustment mechanism, rotating base, and caster bearings to ensure smooth operation without noise.

Inspection of Gas Cylinders: The gas cylinder is the core component for height adjustment. After prolonged use, it may experience pressure drop or air leakage. It is necessary to check its support stability annually. If the seat sinks or has difficulty adjusting in height, immediately contact a professional to replace the gas cylinder to avoid safety hazards.

Tightening of Connecting Screws: The connecting screws between the seat, armrests, and support frame may loosen due to frequent use. It is recommended to check and tighten all screws every six months, focusing on the connection between the backrest and seat, the armrest fixing points, and the junction between the five-star base and the gas cylinder to prevent structural wobbling or detachment.
