Office Chair Lifting Chair Installation
The installation steps for an office chair lifting chair are generally divided into four core stages, which should be carried out in order with attention to detail checks:

1. Install the Five-Star Base and Casters First, place the five-star base flat on the ground and check that the five holes are free of obstructions. Take the universal wheels (casters), align the metal shaft of each wheel with the holes in the five-star base, and press down vertically until you hear a 'click' sound, confirming that the wheels are securely in place. Install the remaining four wheels in the same manner. After installation, gently push the five-star base to test if the wheels rotate smoothly and are not loose. If the wheels are not installed tightly, it may cause the chair to wobble or make noise when moving.
2. Install the Gas Lift and Seat Base Insert the gas lift (lifting column) vertically into the central hole of the five-star base, ensuring that the metal rod is fully inserted and the bottom is flush with the surface of the five-star base. Then, align the central hole of the seat base (which contains the mechanism for controlling the lifting function) with the top of the gas lift and press down slowly until the base is tightly connected to the gas lift. After installation, flip the entire chair upright and check if the gas lift is vertical to avoid tilting, which could lead to failure of the lifting function. If the exposed part of the gas lift is too long or too short, it may indicate misalignment during installation and requires readjustment.
3. Assemble the Seat and Backrest Align the metal pins on the backrest with the slots on the back of the seat and insert them at a 45-degree angle. After hearing a 'click' sound, gently pull the backrest to confirm that the latch is securely locked. For some backrests that require a cover (used to hide screws or joints), align the cover with the edge of the backrest and press it down slowly from one end to the other to avoid air bubbles or wrinkles. If the connection between the backrest and the seat is not secure, long-term use may cause the backrest to loosen or tilt.
4. Function Testing and Inspection After installation, test the core functions of the chair:
- Rotation Function: Sit on the chair and gently push it with your hand to check if it can rotate 360 degrees freely without jamming;
- Lifting Function: Use the adjustment lever under the seat to test if the gas lift can smoothly raise and lower the chair by about 6 centimeters without any unusual noises or sticking;
- Adjustable Accessories: If the chair is equipped with a lumbar support or headrest, adjust their angles and heights according to the instructions to ensure they meet ergonomic needs.
Additional Precautions Before Installation:
- Check the chair's upholstery (leather or mesh) for scratches or damage to avoid difficulties in returning or exchanging it after installation;
- Verify the้ ไปถ (accessories) list to ensure that screws, covers, instructions, and other items are complete. Missing accessories may interrupt the installation process;
- Avoid using excessive force during installation, especially at the connection points between the gas lift and the backrest, to prevent damage to the parts.
By following these steps, you can systematically complete the installation of an office chair lifting chair, ensuring safety and proper functionality.
