Office Chair Lift Frame
The key component of an office chair lift frame is the gas lift cylinder, which achieves lifting functionality through different principles. Common types include pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical types, among others.

The gas lift cylinder is the core component of an office chair lift frame. Visually, it resembles a piston moving within a large cylinder. The large cylinder connecting to the chair base and wheels serves as the outer casing of the gas lift cylinder. One end of the gas lift cylinder is attached to the bottom of the seat, while the piston end is fixed to the top of the casing. There is also a small push valve at the top controlled by a height adjustment lever. By operating the height adjustment lever, the small push valve can be controlled, thereby adjusting the gas pressure inside the cylinder to achieve the lifting and lowering of the chair. Additionally, it provides a certain amount of support for the chair.
There are various types of office chair lift frames. Pneumatic type: It uses a high-pressure nitrogen gas cylinder and relies on the compressibility of gas to achieve smooth lifting and lowering. This type of lifting chair is easy to operate, and the lifting process is relatively smooth. However, if low-quality pneumatic rods are used, such as those with insufficient nitrogen purity or thin tube walls, there is a risk of explosion. To reduce this risk, products with specific safety certifications should be selected, and some products are designed with safety features like explosion-proof steel plates. When using, improper operations such as frequent lifting and lowering and self-disassembly should be avoided.
Hydraulic type: It controls the height through the principle of pressure. It utilizes the incompressibility of liquids and changes the liquid pressure in the hydraulic system to drive the piston movement, thus achieving the lifting and lowering of the chair. The lifting process of hydraulic lifting chairs is relatively stable, but the structure is relatively complex, and the maintenance cost may be higher.
Mechanical type: It generally achieves lifting functionality through mechanical structures such as gears and threads. This type of lifting chair has a simple structure and low cost, but the lifting process may not be very smooth, and it is relatively laborious to operate. In addition, there are other types of office chair lift frames such as screw-type ones, each with its own characteristics and applicable scenarios.
