Office Chair Leg Installation

Admin October 09, 2026

The installation steps for the legs of different models of office chairs vary, and it is necessary to follow the steps according to the specific model. Here are the installation methods for common models:

The installation of the F28 new inclined-leg chair legs requires four steps. First, handle the frame assembly. Unscrew the reserved screws on the frame, insert one side of the frame into the steel tube on the other side, and use a wrench to tighten the reserved screws in sequence to ensure the frame structure is stable. Next, install the footrest. Align the angle iron with the holes on the footrest, fix it with 4 thin and short screws, and tighten them with a wrench. Note that the screws should be fully embedded to avoid loosening. Then, connect the frame and the angle iron. Align the other side of the angle iron with the holes on the frame, fix it with 4 thick and medium screws, and insert the knob into the holes on the frame. At this time, check whether the knob is flexible and adjustable. Finally, fix the frame and the seat cushion. Align the frame with the holes on the seat cushion and tighten it with 4 thin and long screws to complete the main installation. If the chair legs wobble, install leveling feet: first, put 2 washers on the leveling feet and tighten them against the bottom of the chair legs. If there is still slight unevenness, rotate one leveling foot to adjust the height until the chair is placed steadily.

The installation of the F16 split four-leg model is relatively simple and can be completed in just one step. Simply use 4 long screws to fix the frame to the corresponding holes on the seat cushion, and then check whether the connection is firm after tightening the screws. The legs of this model are designed with a height adjustment function at the bottom. After installation, rotate the legs in the same direction to adjust the overall height of the chair according to your needs. When operating, keep the rotation direction consistent to avoid jamming.

The installation of the W901 inclined-leg chair requires three steps. The first step is to fix the crossbar. Place the washer between the crossbar and the frame to act as a buffer and provide stability. Then, connect the crossbar and the frame with 4 medium screws. When tightening, operate symmetrically to prevent tilting. The second step is to connect the seat cushion. Fix the frame to the seat cushion with 4 long screws. The screws should fully penetrate the material and be tightened to ensure a tight connection between the frame and the seat cushion. The final step is leveling. After installation, sit on the chair and press it lightly. After the chair becomes naturally stable, tighten all the screws again to avoid loosening due to initial installation stress.

When installing, note the following: Check the integrity of the tools before use to avoid screw slippage; tighten the screws with an appropriate force to prevent material deformation; if hole misalignment is found during installation, stop the operation and check whether the parts match. Do not force the installation.
