Office Chair Iron Processing
Office chair iron processing mainly includes steps such as steel pipe cutting, bending into tube shapes, welding, pickling, grinding, polishing, and galvanizing.

Firstly, steel pipe cutting is the foundational step. According to the design requirements of the office chair, the steel pipes are cut into standard lengths to provide suitable raw materials for subsequent processing. The cutting process needs to ensure dimensional accuracy to guarantee the stability of subsequent assembly and use.
Next, bending into tube shapes is carried out. The cut steel pipes are pressed into the required bent tube shapes using specific molds and pressure equipment. These bent tubes are usually used to make components such as the base of the office chair. The shapes and angles of the bent tubes need to strictly follow the design drawings to ensure the overall structure and comfort of the office chair.
Then, the welding process is conducted. The bent tubes and other steel pipe components are installed on the mold (welding platform) and welded using gas metal arc welding (GMAW). GMAW has advantages such as fast welding speed and good weld quality, ensuring the standardization of the workpiece and sufficient welding strength, so that the various components are firmly connected together.
After welding, pickling treatment is performed. The purpose of pickling is to remove rust and dirt from the surface of the footrest, improving surface cleanliness. During the pickling process, the concentration of the acid solution and the treatment time need to be strictly controlled to avoid excessive corrosion of the footrest. After pickling, the footrest is rinsed with clean water and the surface moisture is removed to prepare for subsequent processing.
Subsequently, grinding and sanding belt polishing are carried out. Through grinding and polishing, the appearance of the footrest can be made smoother, presenting a mirror-like luster and enhancing the aesthetic appeal of the office chair. The grinding and polishing process needs to be carried out step by step, from rough grinding to fine grinding, to ensure that the surface quality meets the requirements.
Finally, galvanizing treatment is conducted. Galvanizing can enhance the durability of the footrest, prevent rust and corrosion, and extend the service life of the office chair. The galvanizing process usually adopts hot-dip galvanizing or electro-galvanizing methods to evenly cover the footrest surface with a zinc layer.
