Office Chair Installation Wobbling
Wobbling during office chair installation may be caused by wheel installation issues, wheels not being installed properly, or seat plate problems, and can be resolved through targeted inspection and adjustment.

1. Wheel Installation Issues
If the chair's wheel feet do not make even contact with the ground when placed upright or upside down, it may be due to bent or deformed wheel feet. In this case, the chair will tilt towards the deformed wheel foot, causing overall wobbling. Solution: Place the chair upright and observe whether each wheel foot makes full contact with the ground; after inverting the chair, carefully inspect the wheel feet for cracks, dents, or signs of deformation. If damaged wheels are found, purchase a complete set of wheels that matches the original wheel model for full replacement (replacing only a single wheel may cause new issues due to height differences between old and new wheels).
2. Wheels Not Installed Properly
If the wheels are not fully inserted into the base slots during installation, the connection between the wheels and the base will be loose, leading to chair wobbling. Solution: Invert the chair and inspect the connection between each wheel and the base. If the wheels can be moved slightly from side to side, it indicates they are not installed properly. In this case, reinstall the wheels: align the wheels with the base slots, press down firmly and rotate left and right to ensure the wheels are fully inserted and secure. After installation, invert the chair again to confirm that all wheels are firmly fixed.
3. Seat Plate Issues
If the wheels are in good condition and the ground is level, but the chair still wobbles, it may be due to loose or damaged seat plate connections. Solution: Place the chair on its side, locate the metal seat plate (usually located beneath the seat cushion), and check whether the connecting screws between the seat plate and the chair legs, gas lift, etc., are loose or missing. If loose screws are found, tighten them with the corresponding screwdriver; if there are cracks or deformations at the connection points, contact the manufacturer to replace the seat plate or related parts. Additionally, check the fixing method of the seat plate and seat cushion (such as snaps, Velcro, etc.) to ensure the seat cushion has not shifted or come loose.
Precautions: Before operating, ensure the chair is in a power-off state (if it is an electric chair) to avoid accidental triggering and potential accidents; if the issue cannot be resolved after self-inspection, it is recommended to contact professional repair personnel or the manufacturer's after-sales service to avoid exacerbating the fault due to improper operation.
