Office Chair Inspection Report

Admin October 19, 2026

An office chair inspection report typically covers six aspects: appearance inspection, structural stability, functionality check, material and quality assessment, safety inspection, and environmental friendliness check.

Appearance Inspection: Carefully examine the overall appearance of the chair to ensure there are no obvious flaws. The surface should be free from significant damage, scratches, or stains, as these directly affect the product's aesthetics and user experience. Additionally, the desktop color should be uniform, with clear and natural textures, demonstrating good craftsmanship. The lines of the chair's armrests and legs should be smooth, and the welds should be firm and free from looseness, ensuring structural integrity.

Structural Stability: The five-star base and wheels are crucial components for the stability of an office chair. They must be securely fastened and free from looseness or breakage. During stability testing, apply a vertical pressure equivalent to several times the human body weight on the chair seat and repeat the test multiple times. If the chair remains structurally intact with no damaged components and the gas lift functions normally, it indicates good structural stability.

Functionality Check: Primarily inspect whether the chair's adjustment functions are working correctly. Office chairs typically offer height and angle adjustments to meet the needs of different users. During inspection, ensure that these adjustment functions operate smoothly and that the adjusted positions remain stable.

Material and Quality Assessment: The structural robustness of the chair's frame material is of utmost importance, and it should not exhibit signs of decay or insect damage. Conduct a comprehensive inspection of the material through observation, touch, and simple chemical tests to ensure it meets relevant material standards, guaranteeing the chair's lifespan and safety.

Safety Inspection: Safety is a critical aspect of office chair inspection. Carefully check for any obvious gaps or poor welding on the chair, as these issues could lead to injuries during use. Strict quality control is necessary to ensure user safety.

Environmental Friendliness Check: Some inspection reports may also include tests for the environmental friendliness of the chair's materials, such as formaldehyde emission levels. These indicators must meet relevant environmental standards to safeguard the user's health and prevent health issues caused by long-term exposure to harmful substances.
