The commonly used cotton (foam) inside office chairs mainly includes three types: regular foam, recycled foam, and molded foam.

However, the amount of recycled foam on the market that meets normal standards is extremely small, and its quality stability is poor. Due to the complex sources of raw materials and the possibility of irregular processing, the quality of recycled foam varies greatly, and it may have issues such as odor and easy deformation, which to some extent limits its wide application in the field of office chairs.
Molded Foam: Molded foam is made from polyurethane materials and processed through multiple procedures. Its significant advantage is that its density can be adjusted according to actual needs. When used for office chair cushions, office furniture manufacturers can select the most appropriate density based on ergonomics and health standards, ensuring seat comfort without adversely affecting the user's health. In terms of comfort, durability, and environmental friendliness, molded foam performs better overall than recycled foam and regular foam.
