Office Chair for Indoor Use
Office chairs can be classified into three categories based on function and design in indoor environments: staff chairs, executive chairs/big boss chairs, and ergonomic chairs. Some models feature reclining functions, and stability and safety should be considered when purchasing.

1. Staff Chairs: Basic Functionality, Economical and Practical
Staff chairs are primarily designed with simplicity in mind, often without armrests or equipped with simple fixed armrests. Their core function is to meet basic sitting posture needs. Their price range is from 100 yuan to 300 yuan, making them suitable for open-plan office areas or positions focused on routine tasks. Due to their simple structure, staff chairs have fewer adjustment functions, relying mainly on fixed height and backrest angles, making them suitable for short-term or low-intensity office scenarios.
2. Executive Chairs/Big Boss Chairs: High Backrests and Symbols of Comfort
Executive chairs or big boss chairs are characterized by their high backrest designs, often equipped with lumbar supports and headrests, providing more comprehensive body support. Prices range from 500 yuan to 5000 yuan, covering different budgets and brand requirements. The high backrest design not only symbolizes status but also enhances office privacy through independent space layouts. Some high-end models feature genuine leather materials and electric adjustment functions, further enhancing comfort, making them suitable for management or users who need to work independently for long periods.
3. Ergonomic Chairs: Dynamic Support, Alleviating Fatigue
Ergonomic chairs help users maintain the natural curvature of the spine and reduce the pressure of prolonged desk work through multi-directionally adjustable headrests, armrests, and dynamic backrest support systems. Their price range is wide, from 300 yuan to 8000 yuan, suitable for professionals such as programmers and designers who require deep concentration. Core functions include backrest angle adjustment, seat depth adjustment, and armrest height/angle adjustment. Some models are also equipped with breathable mesh or memory foam materials to enhance breathability and fit.
4. Reclining Function and Safety Considerations
Some office chairs (such as the Bajiujian C6 model) feature reclining functions, utilizing high-resilience foam, wear-resistant cat-scratch leather surfaces, full carbon steel frames, and TUV-certified gas rods to meet both sitting and reclining needs. However, it should be noted that from 2023 to 2025, countries such as the United States, China, and Canada have recalled some office chairs due to stability issues (such as backrest breakage and bolt failure). When purchasing, priority should be given to products that have passed international safety certifications (such as BIFMA and TUV), and regular checks should be conducted on bolt tightness and gas rod lifting functions to avoid safety hazards caused by structural aging.
